Tonight I was listening to Start Static and reliving how much I love this record and this band. And how badly I'd love to see it pressed. I gotta say it doesn't surprise me that Tim/Sugarcult didn't write "Do It Alone." The track always seemed to stick out to me for some reason, and I felt it didn't really fit on the album. It's a good track, but it was overtly sexual. And Sugarcult's music has always been sexual, but it was subtle; underneath the lyrics if you will.

One of my favorite bands. They need to get all their albums pressed imo. My cd copy of 'Wrap Me Up In Plastic' is one of the coolest things I own just because of how rare it is. I do hope they press Lights Out as that was a great last LP (though I hope in the future they do another).

Lights Out was pretty bad ass.
 
I'm glad to know this will be happening because I was just about to drop some $$ on the 7 inch singles from this LP. Now I'll hold out.

Possibly. I think Love parts 1 and 2 are amazing for what they are and i think its worth the price since its a 4lp box set

OP presents a rather vague question. If you couldn't listen to the records now, or if you're unable to listen to them, ever? Did your turntable break down, or have you tragically and suddenly gone deaf?
If I were away from home or looking at a disabled turntable, I see no problem with grabbing limited releases or exclusive pre-orders then and there - at retail cost - instead of eBay, months down the road. I've personally done this, and I can say that I'm glad I did. There are a handful of releases I would've missed out on entirely.
If you never plan to buy a turntable, you should probably stick to MP3s, CDs, or cassettes.

Picture discs are such a bad idea in general.

FOB releases a mediocre new track - VC is expressly underwhelmed.
Brand New releases a new single that is Jessie Lacey burping over the sound of trash cans rolling down a hill - VC is like "OMGZ! Bought 17 vinylz"
Funny how some pop punk bands "evolve" and their fans can separate and others cannot.
That said, I'm on the fence about the new song here. I agree that it seems more like a teaser. Like, an intro track before the album.
