cautionthieves got a reaction from Sonorsaur in Epitaph Repress Thread
Would love to finally see Curses and A New Hope by Vanna get the vinyl treatment.

Yep, strongly agree. I love that band so much.

I honestly think He Is Legend have a fairly flawless discography.
I remember the hate for SOTP, but even though it was a departure from IAH, I still loved it when it dropped.
It Hates You remains my favourite. I'm just desperate to finally have the full discography on vinyl.

cautionthieves reacted to INRIhab in Furnace Fest vinyl collaborations
I remember when Suck Out the Poison came out, all my friends hated it. Between IAH and that, I still go back to SOTP regularly.
The Widow of Magnolia and (((louds are my jams

I would bad bad things to have 'I Am Hollywood' and 'Suck Out The Poison' on vinyl

I find that doubtful. Jake & Co. are too involved & in control of their stuff to let others touch. Especially given JD’s 20th anniversary hitting on 9/4.

I got Burn My Eyes, Demanufacture and As Daylight Dies. The card stock is really solid and print quality is stellar. All three pressings sound really rich. After getting my hands on these and seeing the quality, I will happily throw down for any ROG stuff in future without hesitation.

Oh my, I'd love to get my hands on Armistice without dropping $300+.
ROG has been doing a great job on these pressings. Having picked up a number of them over the last 6 months, I'm so impressed by the TLC they've put into them.

Just dropping in to say that ‘Plagues’ is a top 10 Converge song. On a personal note I got into them not long after Jane Doe came out and was blown away…then was initially disappointed when YFM was released. Thought it was a step back (I no longer believe this). Then they came out with No Heroes and had returned in all their glory. Great fucking record.

Surely it's going to be a part of the Vagrant anniversary presses.

cautionthieves reacted to thievesdont in New Quicksand 4/13, UPDATE: single added
Best way I can sum it up. A lot of single string type riffs like Slip, but I think this is an entire group effort as it pulls from all their respective projects and influences.
I will say this though - while there are softer Rival Schools elements (only natural as the 98 demos were heading that direction), this record is far heavier than Interiors. Production is excellent too.

Currently working on a review for an outlet down here in Australia.
Can honestly say that I think this is their best work since Slip. Has the right balance of all of their best elements, while not sounding like a nostalgia trip.

cautionthieves got a reaction from MCDELTAT in Fear Before The March of Flames - The Always Open Mouth, Repress 4/2017
I can't help but feel like they'll have other variants up their sleeve like they did with Armor For Sleep and The Fall of Troy etc.

cautionthieves got a reaction from Snaro in Thrice - Horizons/East
Alright, so I grabbed the Alliance, Cotton Candy, Pink, Yellow and Black as well as two shirts.
In my opinion, this band can do no wrong. Dustin's voice has aged like a fine wine and I never tire of hearing where they go musically. Can't wait to hear it.

cautionthieves reacted to ethanpricington in PO Soon - Underoath - Voyeurist
Yes! I remember watching that doc thinking to myself: "Wait, they're really trying to spin Grant & James not being there as a positive?" Never bought it. Even if Grant & James were theoretically to write the same parts Tim did, they're tracking of the parts would be slightly nuanced based on their playing styles. So I'm really hoping the fact that all are involved now, will lead to a more UO sound.
Never heard/knew this! But makes sense. I always put alot of blame on Matt Squire. The dude wanted to cut all the riffs/breakdowns (or in his words "that shit"). But I will say i really enjoyed 4-5 songs off Erase Me ("No Frame" might possibly be in my Top 5 UO songs ever). But I feel like the new tune has some really good production and hoping it continues throughout the entire album.

cautionthieves reacted to MCDELTAT in PO Soon - Underoath - Voyeurist
Yeah I think the biggest flaw was that they didn’t even invite all 6 members to the sessions. They called this a positive in all the docs because they weren’t fighting but I think this really just meant they were writing basic parts to fit in between the parts they actually cared about writing.

Yep, totally agree. And don't forget that multiple tracks were originally written for Spencer's other 'rock' band sleepwave, and then just kinda reworked for the album.

Seems like that artwork and tracklisting details have surfaced for the new Underoath record after the new single dropped on Thursday.

Single was rad and I hope the album as a whole feels more in line with LOTSOS and Disambiguation as opposed to Erase Me.
No doubt Fearless will go hard on the variants again like they did last time.
Voyeurist:
1. Damn Excuses
2. Hallelujah
3. I'm Pretty Sure I'm Out Of Luck And Have No Friends
4. Cycle (Featuring Ghostmane)
5. Thorn
6. No Oasis
7. Take A Breath
8. We're All Gonna Die
9. Numb
10. Pneumonia
