  1. Uber-fanboy FirefoxUSSR here to report original drummer Joe Daniels is going to do some shows. Maybe more. Just a few days away form the vinyl release! I am excite. http://chicagoist.com/2016/04/01/local_hs_scott_lucas_revels_the_sto.php
  2. Kind word of advice: Learn to drive a manual. I've driven my 17 year old vehicle for 6 years now. I might.... just might have to replace the clutch this year... that's after autocrossing it and regular hooning (it's a Miata). Now let me get off my high-horse and tell you about the 12th pro-level RC car I bought last week....
  3. It's great that 1996 is 20 years ago. So many great albums IMHO... Marilyn Manson Antichrist Svperstar Failure Fantastic Planet Local H As Good As Dead Jimmy Buffe.... wait never mind Far Tin Cans with Strings to You Fiona Apple Tidal (they should make it exclusive ) Silverchair Freak Show Tool Something about an Enema Rage Against the Machine Evil Empire Pearl Jam No Good Soundgarden Superduper Upsidedownkake Typo Negative October Lust OutKast ATliens Weener Pinkerton Beck Yodelay Gin Blossoms Our Songwriter Shot Himself and We'll Soon Be Out of Ideas
  4. cringeworthy. would rather him use sandwich metaphors.
  5. I got broads in London.... Still kinda like this album. Into my wishing well- Kanye just does a nicely mastered 24-bit release of all of his albums. I did notice Watch the Throne is now on HDTracks... likely it's the same master (in 24-bit) as the CD/digital releases. It was with John Legend's last album. Idk why labels do that... lazy and a missed opportunity.
  6. Personally, i think it'd be best to just have a 24bit lossless release that is mastered like they do for vinyl. There would be no problems with track order, pressings, or pic discs or any of that nonsense.
  7. I ran Pablo thru PerfectDeclipper.... and used this track list... and cut the Nina Chop (aka Famous): 43 minutes of awesome. Press it DefJam! Also I took a sandwich.
  8. I wonder why My Room is a Mess never had a vinyl pressing? That's easily my favorite of his. Not that it needs one... it's mastered without brutality.
  9. ^ditto... i really want a new copy and i'd like to easily differentiate it from my 2010 pressing. edit: they did have a package where you could buy a black & clear package but not signed... that's what they're referring to (which I assume is sold out).
  10. Brown background on the cover and no skits? I ask cuz i just picked up that version in December. Anyone have the Yeezus cassette, care to tell if the mastering isn't as loud as the CD/iTunes/etc?
  11. Predicted correctly! Thanks to everyone on the board not voting that Eddie Vedder deserves an apology. Cuz he don't. I just saw announcement from my email (yes, i'm on Local H's mailing list). See SRC isn't evil. Local H couldn't get this pressed by themselves.
  12. If you ever think about selling it....I have an offer. Most I paid was like $189 for Golden Age of Grotesque. Or it was Electro-shock Blues before the repress. Either way I sold both for what I paid or more.
  13. Definitely need Devil, don't need a copy of Penisy. I'm assuming there's still a pressing coming, just not 'indie'. FWIW - I've really wanted a copy of this with decent mastering... I bought the HDtracks release only to discover they did use the CD master. (if anyone wants a copy, I will send it to you out of spite).
  14. It's bordering on ridiculous New Miserable Experience never got a vinyl issue. It's 42 minutes of awesome. I could say the same about Local H's As Good as Dead, "Bound for the Floor" is still on the radio..... 19 years later. I think they just don't get it.....
  15. If they release either or both of these, I'd love the label forever. UMG can't always be bothered for a properly mastered release... or a release at all. We should start pestering the label for these records. I'd like to see the other unreleased on vinyl GB & Local H albums too.
  16. thank you thank you thank you. i'd given up and bought the Mastered for iTunes a few months back!
  17. I get to see Failure & Hum in FLORIDA... florida... actually Fort Lauderdale. Awesome!
  18. Florida gets nothing and deserves it. some of the shit our state pulls.... also I drove to Tampa (by myself) to see the Life and Times once. Allen's a nice guy.
