I like the EP enough. I think as far as pop/punk goes they're doing enough to set themselves slightly apart. There are a ton of pop/punk bands and to rise to the heap in any way with any kind of buzz they have to have something. The EP doesn't show much progression or refinement. I guess I just like the band and the style they've shown to enjoy the new batch of songs and really only expect a continuation of what they've already done (at least in this early point of their career). "Skin Deep" is probably my favorite song on the EP.
 
Lyrically it is a little juvenille but that could be said with a lot of pop/punk. There are the exceptions. I think these guys need to get into a studio with a good production team and see what they can turn out on a full length. If they are anything special in terms of lasting value the full length will show it (or at least I think that).

Just saw this thread now, thanks for all the kind words on what we're doing. It's been a really crazy year so far, sort of reminds me of 2010 with Title Fight, Fireworks, Tigers Jaw, Man Overboard, Transit, etc records all coming out.
 
The Citizen record is unreal good, I think with Warped, and how easy it's going to be to get the record (cheap copies in every Hot Topic bundled with RFC 2013 sampler for free) things are gonna be going pretty well for them.
