My thoughts are pretty in line with this too. The self-contained nature of message boards definitely promotes more of a community aspect than any subreddit I've ever been on has. 
I still talk to old friends from various message boards on a regular basis, despite neither one of us having anything to do with those communities anymore (if they even still exist). Can't say the same about anyone I've ever talked to on Reddit.

Funny enough...I recently joined Reddit just to putz around and see what I have been missing. And was toying with the idea of starting a Reddit community then. 
If enough people are keen on it, I will start it. Let me know.

You're right. An LP60 makes for real bad quality control.
They should have used a Victrola suitcase to see how it will actually sound for most people who buy it.

The left is the indie Black/Red - it's a really awful swirl color combo that looks only Black when laid flat, and you can start to see the swirl when you hold it to the light

The right is the Webstore Black/Red/Yellow/Orange - I will say it doesn't look very different on each side, it's more of a red vinyl with black yellow and orange splatter that really pops when held to the light, but only looks red w/ black splatter when laid flat. 

The pictures on Discogs looks quite different from one another. 

Haven't been into them since City of Evil but this is absolutely terrible.

Grabbed tickets to the recently announced Atlanta show. Excited to see them playing the Southeast even if it is just one date.

The Saturday show was awesome.  I saw their last show at the same place 20 years ago and I'd say their energy and stage presence was just as good now as it was then.  They were even tighter though now (which I guess comes along with some of them continuing to play in other bands consistently throughout the years).  I seem to remember at the last show an alarming lack of stage dives (I think the security there was tighter back then).  People were getting WILD at the Saturday show.  Very stoked indeed.  Heck, I even went to the show with the same two people that went with me in 2002.

Saturday's show was just as good as I expected it to be.
So glad I was able to make it to two of these shows. Definitely needed more than one set to fully absorb what I was witnessing.

Two amazing nights, loved every minute of it. They sounded super tight and the venue and audience were great as well. I kinda wish they had played Rob Lobster and one or two older songs, but as it was the set list was extremely tight and had a great flow. As a kid I usually just saw them play shorter sets in front of 50 people or less and it's cool to see how much they've grown as musicians even though they haven't been a band in such a long time. It's a totally different experience.

You should be good. I've never been to a show there where they didn't allow it.
I'd ask at the door to be safe. You might need to get a stamp/wristband from the bar or something.

Changed my set up a little since last time. New media console, moved it to a different wall, record are now in my media room, and just got the Cambridge Audio Alva TT V2 in today. Breaking it in with Ramones S/T Mono Mix.
