just got this about a month ago by my good buddy Sam Ricketts at Black Chalice Tattoo, Swindon UK
had to take a 10 hour flight back home to houston the next day after getting it, not recommended, highly uncomfortable haha
 

Got this Undertaker themed demon from Davee Blows while he was a guest at Three Kings Tattoo in Brooklyn last night. 

And this one is an inside joke and my cat Dizzy from several months ago done by Phil DeAngulo at Allied Tattoo in Brooklyn. I need to take a healed photo soon.  

Posting to say that sometimes old dreams do come true.

Clockwork is the shit.  My favorite QOTSA release since SFTD, actually.

Like Clockwork is the best thing they've ever done by far, and I do like the majority of their catalog.

Too early for a new PO thread, but it looks like their next single is coming July 31st (called Head Boy Machine), which means an album will likely follow in September or October. Cannot fucking wait. Favorite band.
 
This isn't confirmed but seems legit, also makes sense with more live dates having just been announced. Same pattern as Clockwork.

Posting to say that sometimes old dreams do come true.

Someone said it months ago, but it's worth saying again - 36 Crazyfists's stuff that hasn't been pressed yet; mostly Bitterness the Star and A Snow Capped Romance though. Been listening to Bitterness the Star a lot lately, fantastic album.

I had a 100% complete Silverchair collection at one stage (not including all of the 2012 + represses)

Best album since Chamberlain Waits. This is the follow up I've been waiting for.

I'm running around a lot the next two days and I had a couple hours alone this afternoon before the craziness starts...so I opened my Secret Santa package a little early!
 

 
No idea who it is, but thank you so much! Both of these are records that I've really wanted, I love the Inside Llewyn Davis soundtrack and I listen to it on my iPod all the time (favorite songs are Hang Me, Oh Hang Me and 500 Miles), but I never picked up the record before so to have it on vinyl is super exciting!
 
The Charlie Brown Christmas album is particularly special to me though. My grandmom who was reaching the later stages of dementia passed away of cancer this past spring. In her room at the nursing home (which my granddad put her in when the dementia progressed beyond his ability to care for her at home) she had a CD boombox but no CDs. So, I took over a CD I thought might recognize through her foggy ability to remember anything - Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas". The last time I ever saw her we listened to this and Norah Jones' "Come Away with Me" and flipped through old photo books. It's a memory I'll have forever and I'm grateful to have the music that was the soundtrack to that memory on vinyl. Thanks Secret Santa, your presents mean more to me than you probably even realized.

Seems to be mixed reviews across the board on this album. But add me to the mix that thinks this album kicks ass. It's got some of the best songs these guys have ever written. 

Who said we're even existing to begin with? We could all just be a part of a dream that a turtle, floating in outer space, is having.

 
On topic: This record is incredible. It doesn't get old, just gets better. Can't wait for my green copy to arrive so I can spin it.

Well, if it brings you and your friends any comfort, remember time is immeasurable. Mankind itself will have only existed in the blink of an eye. It'll be like you, me, and everyone we care about never even existed.

This band sucks and you all are losers

I already tweeted them 5 times. I saw them retweet someone else so I know they are online. I guess they just don't care about their customers. Really disappointing. They don't charge until it ships so I guess I'll keep my order for now, but I'm going to be emailing them every day until I hear back.
