shit people say that you can't stand

Recommended Posts

This has probably been said (maybe even by me, already), but using "drop" to mean "release." This is especially irritating with record releases; if you "drop" a record, it's probably going to break, you fuck. When something is released it is just that: A release, not a drop.

It also makes me think of swag culture, which I hate.

I bet you hate it when someone calls an album a tune too, eh?

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is a tune! The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows is a song!

This is definitely a swag culture type thing. I saw a lot of people saying "drop" in the mondo thread and didn't get it. Anytime I've ever seen people use drop is when people are discussing sneaker drops or streetwear crap like obey or supreme.

Perhaps you could be more specific. Are you trying to say you hate when someone says "that's not real hardcore." While listening to some band? Something along those lines?

its whenever some in real life,or fuck even on the internet feels the need to comment on your music taste and say stuff like "that's not real punk" or something along that line. who the fuck really cares, you can not like something but I honestly don't care if you think im a "poser" for liking blink. and then when people push it over the edge and list the bands they feel are "real punk" and end up being the generic (i kinda hate using this term but it works) entry-level hardcore bands. who the fuck cares?
