From now until the end of tomorrow, you can download all the Flesh and Bone albums for free. Only 200 total downloads available, and the only other time I did these, they were gone super fast. Hope you all enjoy, and thanks to anyone that has supported the label in its first year - already looking forward to 2015! hell yeah, really awesome of you to make these available. thanks man. Shitty Rambo
I often hear emo bands being segragated into 'waves' but am never really sure who fits into what era. I've chalked it up the following (just giving examples of bands of said ilk, this isn't definite), is this somewhat correct or am I way off? 1st wave: Jawbreaker, Mineral, Texas Is The Reason, The Promise Ring, SDRE. 2nd wave: TGUK, JEW, Further Seems Forever/Dashboard Confessional, Elliot, The Juliana Theory, Braid. 3rd wave: American Football, Thursday, Saves The Day, Bright Eyes (most of the Saddle Creek scene as well). 4th wave: ??? (I guess Warped Tour shit from the mid-to-later 2000's) 5th wave (revival?): Dads, TWIABP, Tigers Jaw, Dikembe, You Blew It!

Shitty Rambo
http://m.noisey.vice.com/blog/theres-no-emo-revival-you-just-stopped-paying-attention I'm not pointing fingers, just trying to get a general idea of what the hell people mean when they refer to specific eras of the genre. That seems pretty off to me if we're going to classify all these bands into "waves". I'd start with Rites of Spring, not Mineral, The Promise Ring, etc.

dantheriver
Those bowls are funny and appropriately priced at $9.52. It sucks to hear they had a bad experience with FG though, as a customer they have always treated me excellent.
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Same here. They are always so nice, they know me by name. (Not hard since it's Blade but still.)
AutumnEmpire
I think Long Knives will have a release put out by Count Your Lucky Stars soon. Tommy Boys posted about a show they were playing and accidentally let the cat out of the bag.
billya
Snowing and Algernon Cadwallader belong on that list. People used the term revival back then, too.

TheGhostOfRandySavage
Seems about right. 5 and 6 are "revival" stuff and 4 is "the wave that shall not be named"...cuz...fuck that wave.

Out of Breath Records
how is that revival if there's been a fairly consistent emo scene
Shelby
how is that revival if there's been a fairly consistent emo scene This too. I also don't get (well I guess I do, noodly guitars were all grouped together) how Algernon were ever considered emo. That sentence was terrible I'm sorry. parkinglot
how is that revival if there's been a fairly consistent emo scene p4k never cared. Also, I was young at the time, but I don't think there was much happening from 2002-2006~
GHOSTDRONES
What about Moss Icon, Indian Summer, Evergreen, and the Hated... they predate SDRE but are post Rites of Spring and Embrace
