allenh
SoundStageDirect has some and the shipping to Europe is better as long as you only buy 2 records. To the UK SoundStage is $32 and Insound is $
stranaspank
Been meaning to get a few of these, this seems like a good cause to do so. Can I write these off on my taxes as a charitable contribution?
apirk
Well they are only donating a dollar for each record so probably not worth it
nightonthesun
Cool idea. Wish it was a better collection of bands though.

natenomm
October is breast cancer awareness month. To support the cause ten bands will be releasing an album on pink vinyl. All are limited to 500 copies! For every unit sold, $1 will be donated to Gilda’s Club NYC. Yup. One measly dollar.
ghjghj
$5000 from 5000 represssed records? CHARITY drds89
McCandless
$1 is ridiculous. I mean granted it's better than nothing and every little helps, but it seems more like a way to use the charity in a way to sell their records. dj29

drds89
the dudes from Nothing knew 'nothing' about this until i tweeted it (from the Nothing thread with link for discount) yesterday - they wanted to see pics of Pink GoE (shoegaze AOTY) I bet them they wouldn't get one single royalty copy from Insound - then they could get all depressed and write another song/ or album about the whole thing
natenomm
So yeah, fuck these records. If you want to actually help, donate money directly to charities. thesewoodenideas and dj29

jaba1337
Eh, didn't have Temples or Lucius yet, ordered from Amazon. Definitely would've got Courtney Barnett if I hadn't already overpaid for the import version before it was released in the US....
filthyrich
Eh, I read this thread as vinyl reissues of the artist Pink. (Or is that P!nk?) Too bad. Would've enjoyed some M!sunderstood on wax. Also, a heads up that the Isbell is a GREAT album but a lousy pressing. Really noisy, and I can't imagine the pink variant will improve that. stranaspank
I heard about that issue, but I thought I read they did another press and fixed it. I avoided buying it because I didn't know which press I'd get. Here's hoping the pink is ok, this album needs to be quiet.
filthyrich
I have the second press. It's not distorted like the first press, but it's still noisy. I think it has to be an issue with their pressing plant. I have yet to meet a single person (online or otherwise) with a clean copy of the new Isbell.
