sspeck Posted December 8, 2014 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Definitely explains things. Still didn't expect heroin, but I'm glad he's been clean. When I spoke to him in November he seemed very coherent and bright eyed. It was good to see. He was even making jokes about a girl that made her way on the stage and "looked like a spokesperson for a anti-drug commercial". But within 25 minutes of walking off the stage he said it was PJ time. I'm sure seeing fans on stuff and being surrounded by it makes it so much harder. In my personal experience with people that struggle from serious addiction it is less of a question as to if someone uses again, and more often, when they will. Being an addict is a lifetime struggle, and it certainly doesn't help that a lot of people tend to romanticize drug use far too often, especially in the music industry. I wish him the best with this, even if that means stopping things such as touring altogether if it gets to be too much. To me, the most important people in this situation are their children. dapeebs Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Heroin is honestly the worst. I have a relative that is almost 30 years old that has been on and off of it since she was 18. Different rehabs, pregnancy(s), etc, nothing has been enough to get her off the stuff. Now not everyone is the same, but it is the hardest stuff to go off of. It's good to see Anthony off of it, and with his strong support system from his bandmates and family, I'm sure he'll be fine. Hoping he continues to make music for years to come. It's great to see a musician be so open with their fanbase, and people who care about him enough to keep him around and help in whatever way they can. Yeah inventory being spot on is literally unheard of in my experience. That's why there are shrinkage allowances and whatnot. Also, CVHX, you are probably just running into bad luck similar to myself. I have contacted every Hot topic within two hours of where I live (3 that were on Travis' list today) and none had them, one sold both copies they got in two hours before I called, another store told me they were all claimed by employees (Which I assume is allowed, idk their policies).
