pizza face Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 I'm in the same boat. My first lp shipped, and the tracking # is bunk. Second shipment with 2 LPs is valid. Ha. Same exact thing here. One LP w/ USPS tracking non-working. While my UPS tracking with 2 LPs works. Maybe they're all in the UPS tracking...who knows... cannonfunk Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 I just received 1 of the 5 LP's that I ordered less than 48 hours ago. That's amazing delivery time! The packaging was a corrugated cardboard LP mailer (no padding) that was designed for sending 1 LP, with "DO NOT BEND" printed on the box. Not bad. The sleeve didn't sustain any sort of damage. Walked out with: RHCP - BSSM Prodigy - Lay of the Land Belle & Sebastian - Arab Strap & Feeling Sinister Band of Horses - Everything All the Time Beck - Morning Phase New Pornographers - Brill Bruisers The National - Boxer Modest Mouse - Long Drive... I think they were shipped from one state away (NM to CO). Funny enough, from the the store I used to frequent when I lived in Albuquerque. All I did was compare versus Amazon while I was in the store. I put back six or seven albums that were roughly the same price after the discount. It was a large box with 6 LPs laying on top of each other with one sheet of packaging paper wrapped around them. Of course my Soundgarden LP came beat to crap. Oh well. It was a copy of Gallon Drunk's Fire Music that was obviously shop worn. Packaging has never created a problem for me and most of my orders have arrived in proper record mailers. I'm never hesitant to order from them, though I no longer count on them for preorders. I jumped in and ordered 14 records in 3 separate orders during this sale totalling about $190. They'll all be arriving Monday through Wednesday in six shipments. A couple records I was actually surprised to see ship (Jonsi & Alex's Riceboy Sleeps and Devendra Banharts' Cripple Crow). I feared they were listed by mistake and not actually in stock. I hope they arrive in vinyl format and not CD format, as I have heard of that happening and experienced it once myself with a copy of Grinderman 2.
