Koetjesrepen
So, are the vinyl albums on the EU website EU pressings, and are the vinyl albums on the US website US pressings? Or are all the vinyl on both sites a US or a EU press?
fugazi
Judging from what Anti- and Epitaph have done in the past the EU pressing will be a different one than the US pressing. In the past the EU pressing was on 180gr while the US wasn't.
Eliminator Jr.
ANTI-/Epitaph uses different pressing plants for their EU-pressings. The EU-variants are generally regarded as quite superior to the US ones.
Asphyz
I would rather know the pressing info EU - but pretty sure I will just get the Green/White one.
Sad Heart
I'm going for the green / white EU pressing.
drewberinger
If so, I really have no idea what makes it "deluxe" the 27 dollar price tag makes it deluxe
Rip
Got that coke bottle. ALMOST got the bundle with the shirt just cause I fucking love that artwork. Decided I was already spending enough though.
drewberinger
Weren't the pressing numbers for Sunbather way higher? I know that the EU variants will have to be added, but still. yup it was /5000 First Press: 300 - Clear w/ Splatter 700 - Hot Pink & Beer 4000 - Red & Gold
Guest Secular Haze
And about 15,000 pink and yellow.
daegor
Hmm, so black is more limited? Amazon it is.
fugazi
Hmm, so black is more limited? Amazon it is. Doubt that Amazon will get the "Deluxe" limited to 500 version. They'll most definitely get the /1500 or an even higher "normal" black distro copy.
zacray
Black limited to 500... gotcha! Probably a typo since it's less money. I can see them doing 5,000 considering demand and also retail. Next pressings might not have the spot varnish or gatefold which would be why these are "deluxe." Just a guess though.

Maybe that's a stupid question, because there are hints in the interviews of the band that they wanted to experiment with other sounds. I am just a little bit curious What I am most interested at is if the new album has the kind of beautiful composed parts like Sunbather, those kind of powerful and 'emotional' pieces like the end of the song Dreamhouse or The Pecan Tree. I am not talking about the soft intro of the teaser of the new album. I mean the all out powerful and emotional compositions of the band. Or is it more like a (typical) metal album, with only heavy songs and some soft intros like the teaser? I like Deafheaven because of the emotional parts of the album Sunbather and the single From the Kettle onto the Coil, especially because it contrasts the heavier parts beautifully. If the album has that kind of contrast, than I will buy the limited vinyl. If not, that's a deal breaker and I will juist wait for the singles on YouTube and then decide to not buy the album or sit and complain that I did not buy the limited vinyl The shipping costs from the US to my place is over 30 dollars, so I am trying to find out if it is worth to buy an American edition! zacray
Also, for local Bay Area folks, blue and yellow for Warriors? They've done 49ers and Radiers variants in the past on Sunbather.
batnoises
I still can't decide which variant matches the artwork best, but I'm leaning towards transparent blue. Maybe I should just hold out till I have more cash and see what's left.
dvv
gotta get either green or blue, pretty sure one or both will still be there by pay day

fitterhappier
I want EU pressings but the shipping is too much I'm assuming my pre-pre-order will be honored so I'll settle with the US pressings for now.

jaymond00
Torn between blue, pink, green. Leaning towards green, will probably have regrets no matter which I choose. Aahhh edit - went with green. Regrets be damned

Just the 3 variants in my cart only shipping option I get is FedEx and they are charging me €29.
Derek™
Just the 3 variants in my cart only shipping option I get is FedEx and they are charging me €29.33 That's the shipping on 2 or more copies. Absurd. It's actually cheaper placing separate orders for one variant each.
