daniele
Their last record was very boring for me, but i pulled the trigger on it hoping that the new line up will give more inspiration to the new stuff......

Gumbo72203
New song is up, and it's reel gud. Watch out for those Daft Punk voxals though! This is the sound I love from them, though. Big Insomniac Doze vibes.
zaoza
Envy played a show in Malaysia last weekend. Still getting used to not seeing Masahiro Tobita on stage right. They played two new songs from the new album, A Faint New World and A Step in the Morning Glow. brandy

From what I've read, someone said Masahiro retired from playing and I think he manages Mouse on the Keys and several other bands according to his IG postings. The original drummer Dairoku Seki plays in Storm of Void now. Not sure whether both departures are mutual or there was bad blood with the rest of Envy. Well, this might explain why Tetsuo eventually came back after leaving originally....
throwgncpr
Album has definitely leaked, and wow, this was not what I was expecting. This record rules. They new line-up brought just enough change.

Derek™
Can we all just stop for a moment and collectively agree that the reoccurring guitar line and accompanying drums of Swaying Leaves is the feel-good moment of 2020 so far? This. I think the sequencing of this record is very nicely done. Good amount of euphoric melody and gut-wrenching/melancholic riffs.
SaulManella
Anyone know what the US indie version is?
glass realms
TRL normally doesn't have a US indie pressings. The recent MONO album/EP and EITS reissues had the same colored vinyl pressings available from both their webstore and indie shops.

I saw a few at zia saying it was a colored variant but assumed the tan and red were a web store exclusive.

Honestly? That's just the beginning of these types of moments for this album... the whole thing is sprinkled with beautiful moments. Can't easily just pick one. Gumbo72203
man that's crazy. My girlfriend just got me the red and tan plus the CD for my birthday. Real psyched. The album sounds great, and it's very fresh. It's got basically everything from all facets of their sound, which is fantastic. Really hope they come over here sometime soon.
