silentgods
as i look at my record purchases for the past month. its a few records from a label in england. a couple pre-orders still from germany. a shirt from a band in germany. and the usual bunch of weird Norway/Swedish stuff. and i got to thinking man, i buy a lot of shit from other countries. how much of your records come from overseas? mattisr1984
0% but if an import that i want makes it way to the states and its not going to burn a hole in my wallet, then ill pick it up.
blackswanns
Sadly nothing. Don't have the money and right now I have other wants.

monk0nuggets
Probably about 4%. I only order every once in a while from another country.
mcm1610
I think I have an imported Queen record from South America and 2 or 3 singles from the UK. That's it.
josh8282
Probably about 50%.
deafmx
good question. i hate paying the mega shipping prices but sometimes you just want to have a record and it's your only option. i'd say maybe 30%, maybe less.

Dillhole
Just one, Sick Of It All - Based On A True Story. I got it through Amazon.com and the seller was located in Germany. They had to have lost money, record was 18, shipping was 2.98. It arrived in less that one week.
thingswecarry
all of them
suburbanargyle
I'd say about 0%. If an overseas release doesn't make it into a US distro than I guess I just have to go without.
smailtronic
Other than a few things off ebay, the only international place I've ordered from is Denovali, and that's only been a couple times
jhulud
As little as possible.
silentgods
theres a label out of England called Back on Black that just does re-issues of classic metal albums on 180 gram vinyl. its like NUCLEAR ASSAULT ON 180 GRAM? TAKE MY MONEY ENGLISHMAN!
lonesomexloveus
zero! i don't have enough money. psssshhh.
kurtz
I have no idea what percentage it would be, but I order stuff from overseas every now and again. I've gotten some good deals on discogs from overseas sellers. If it's something small and inexpensive like a couple 7"s the exchange rate and shipping usually isn't too bad. I'll pass though if it's something heavier and more expensive like a 2xLP.
deafmx
i think my list of stuff i want to buy is longer on the international ordering side than domestic in the US. if money was no object, i think the overseas buying would bump to 40%. Denovali, Golden Antenna, Bright Antenna, Tendervision, One Little Indian and Arctic Rodeo aren't making it easy as a collector right now. circlingvultures
Depends on the record. I have placed my fair share of orders from overseas but unless it's something really limited I just wait until it pops up stateside. Still, I do maybe half a dozen to ten orders a year. xlovecolouredx
100% of mine are import. around 85% are made in the u.s.a. and the rest are from europe. nothing from japan or asia countries....
phaseshifter
99%. Wish it didn't have to be so high since postage is a killer, but its extremely rare that I can find anything locally.
