gumbycross
Has anyone been following the republican debates so far? Its been pretty funny. All the nominees (for me) come across as animated cartoon characters. Just unrealistic but some issues that they have been talking about have got me thinking. The issue with Israel. Why Cuba is coming up in the debates now? All their views on Foreign policy and the whole ObamaCare/RomneyCare thing. Newt's crazy Space exploration ideas etc. Have any favorites? BuzzersonKillwell
Newt had his messaging all wrong. You gotta save the moon base for the younger demographic, not Florida. I'd be running on a golf cart and rascal rebate platform down there. But hey, that's just my opinion.
Guest
i find the whole lot to be uninspiring. Seriously, who is voting for Newt Gingrich in 2012? He is the epitome of "Washington Insider" at a time when people want real, radical change, yet he and Romney are the front-runners. As a registered Republican, i am planning to vote Obama. EDIT: Of course, the Presidency is vastly over-rated. Congress is where change needs to occur the most. Talk about a useless lot of dolts and comfortable, complacent old men. i hope we do what we need to do and remove the incumbents, but i doubt that will happen. GradedOnACurve
I consider Obama a moderate Republican so really the Republican primary is useless. I also love they call Obama a socialist....they have no idea what that means.

booyahachieved
This series of rebublican primaries has been quite amusing. Although I can only take so much in at one time. If I were to watch it all it would be overkill. Ron Paul's honesty certainly does impress me. However, I can't get down with all of his idealogy. He says he's all about personal liberty and what not and then goes and takes the pro-life stance. Does not compute!!!

SeeMoreGlass
I consider Obama a moderate Republican so really the Republican primary is useless. I also love they call Obama a socialist....they have no idea what that means. I asked my mother the other night why she hated obama so much and she said...and I quote..."I don't believe in socialism" I have been watching the republican primary veeery closely...(a lot of The Ed Show and Rachel Maddow) and I don't see how anyone could think these clowns have anything good to offer America...It amazes me that Mitt Romney is most likely going to be the Republican nominee. He is worth over 250 million dollars, pretends to know what it is like to be unemployed, lied about why he has funds in offshore accounts (claiming it was not to avoid taxes, but why else would you have money in offshore accounts), and every time he talks, he sounds like he is reading from a script. No matter what question he is asked, he never says anything about his "plan" or his ideas for america, he just goes on about how awful Newt Gingrich is and how he is the true president to "beat obama." I hate that people will vote for this man just because they don't like obama... /end rant

There's absolutely no reason anybody in Florida should care about space exploration, especially when it's already a thriving endeavor under President Obama. hipsterasfolk
I have nothing against Republicans, but I really don't need Michael Moore awakening from his Rancor Pit. However....the thing that cracks me up is they claim Obama is Free Market oriented when he regulate markets? That's like saying Newt's wedding band means he is single.....BAZINGA. suchashorttime
i want to know what it's going to take for people to figure out that the bipartisan system just produces the same group of people every 4 years, democrat and republican, and we're all just choosing from two people that aren't so different. i want to see an independent at least stand a chance of winning. anyway, this republican primary has been the best tv. these dudes are nuts, but very entertaining. i do find it really obnoxious how the media ignores the hell out of ron paul when he stomps on the other 3 candidates in debate. selfreliable
Dear lord I hate when people act like Colbert and Stewart are reliable places to get their news. Far too many people think that they are telling the truth all the time. They are just as bad as claiming that Rush is a reliable place to hear your news.
