somethingvinyl
A friend and I got lucky and came across an amazing jazz, soul, and latin collection. Many original pressings on Blue Note, Prestige, etc. The cool thing was that there were multiple copies of things. We got 10 sealed copies of Grantstand by Grant Green, though dark blue label. We paid $3 a record for the boxes we scored. Most legendary day so far. I wish I had been your friend on that day.

RonaldMacdonald
Was at a garage sale in Portland and found: At The Drive In - Relationship of Command Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets (Blue/Grey) Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends (1st pressing) $5 each! Guy had no idea what he had. At the time neither did I to be honest. I was just stoked to find records I liked for cheaper than $20. Also, my mother-in-law called me recently to tell me she found a cool looking Johnny Cash record for me at an antique store. Turns out it was a sealed copy of American IV: The Man Comes Around. She pair $8 for it!

paralyticstalks
Today at work (I work at FYE) some lady brought some records to sell us. There was some Alice Cooper, some Aerosmith, some Kid Rock, etc. So I'm pricing these things and at the bottom of the stack, I kid you not, is a sealed US red/white copy of Elephant by The White Stripes. My manager decided to sell it at retail value since it was still sealed and in our system PLUS I have a discount so I paid $10 for it. Looks like I won't go for that RSD repress.
