almightyseancore
i have this on silver and white, i missed out on the original pressing by only a few weeks. great release here. the way the album should have been.
dreamover
technically deep elm isn't releasing it. big school records licensed it from deep elm. (this is the third label that has licensed this record, and the fourth press, probably using the same mothers, because it's the same plant). deep elm doesn't allow licensees to do preorders, so they won't be able to sell until they're in hand. expect big school records to have a lot more copies than deep elm. andables
why would you switch out the jacket? the new pressing literally says gold vinyl. Ah didn't see that. I retract my previous statement. Thus let the record reflect this and hereto move onward with this fantastic thread
dreamover
yeah, its actually quite dumb how it says it's the final gold press. i'm all about changing the font color, but these covers have just been downright cheesy.

I thought it looked pretty cool for the Silver one. It's not like it was over the top or anything. Anyway, everyone needs this album. So good. dreamover
Everything deep elm tries to sell just feels like an infomercial. Buy it direct from Big Story when it comes out. There won't be preorders to worry about. They're not allowed to sell it until Deep Elm (and them) have it in hand.
gmoney
Everything deep elm tries to sell just feels like an infomercial. Gah. They're the worst. You should know best.

jonnywreck
Did the silver edition sell out that quickly? I remember getting it on sale from Deep Elm a little while after the release.
kidamnesiac
I seriously hope the jacket doesn't actually say "Final Gold Edition" on it. This is one I've been after for a long time. Stoked to finally get it.

I remember getting it on sale from Deep Elm a little while after the release.[/b] they always exaggerate. there were 1000 pressed. deep elm contracts say they get 10-20% so they had 100-200 copies. graveface who actually released it had the rest and i believe it took a few months to sell out. kjkenney
freakin Deep Elm, or someone, just needs to press Lost Songs already!!

Stoked to finally get it. the copy i have says "silver limited edition: 3xLP color vinyl" on the back of the jacket. i don't know if the original tri color release has something similar, but what your complaining about isn't much different, it's just on the front instead of the back. Guest
freakin Deep Elm, or someone, just needs to press Lost Songs already!! A re-press of their early stuff would be dandy, as well.
dreamover
for those confused, this is the fourth pressing of this record. 1. gilead media (black vinyl, 2006) 2. graveface (blue + brown + green records, 2007) 3. graveface (silver w splatter, 2010) 4. big school (gold, 2012) each pressing limited to 1000 copies. beatnik11
I have the Graveface Silver version, but frankly at least for mine the sound quality isnt all that clean. I might go ahead and jump for this
