Princess Logan
Yay! I was just wondering today if you had received it. Glad it successfully reached you. It totally made my day! It even tops my mail lady actually walking on to my porch and actually putting it between the two doors so it doesn't drown in this storm. Normally she just plays frisbee and hopes for the best. It's also funny because someone just randomly made a comment to me the other day about how I have this total "internet princess" personality until you meet me in person. The exact words were "You're kinda like a dude that pretends to be a girl on the internet." Everyone needs to mail things to Princess Logan from now on. Derek™
I just saw 'her'. Pretty good. I felt things The premise seems pretty abstract, from what I've gathered, but I've heard good things from the few people who've seen it.

radiatorhums
I do not like going to see movies in the theater at all, but I do want to go see Her. A few friends of mine liked it enough that they're willing to go a second time, that's a good endorsement in my opinion.
Aych
On a completely unrelated sidenote, I revived my non-ironic love of Gnarls Barkley today. It's kind of crazy (pun unintended) how The Odd Couple was so underplayed compared to St. Elsewhere. It's so fun to listen to, such a strong album as a whole. Makes me sad that Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse never did anything Gnarls-related after that album.

sjb2k1
ugh. throat's all scratchy today, lots of coughing...definitely coming down with something. worst possible time for this to be happening, too. worked 52+ hours this last week and we have three huge projects due by the 22nd. like completely unrealistic deadline kind of huge
Aych
Does The Odd Couple grow on you? I remember listening to it once when it came out, but stuck for me. Definitely. It took me two or three listens to really get into it. I like the flow of it more so than St. Elsewhere. Like, St. Elsewhere had a bunch of awesome songs on it but it felt like too much of a "singles album," if that makes any sense. The Odd Couple seemed more like an album rather than a bunch of songs thrown together. I dunno, maybe that's just me. Anyways, yes, it does grow on you. kamalatapes
Would those who watched "Her" consider it the modern day "Garden State"?
circuit bored records
Would those who watched "Her" consider it the modern day "Garden State"? No, not at all. They are completely different films. Also, how is something less than 10 years old not considered modern day?

If I recall Garden State was out around 2004? I just meant is it, "this decades" Garden State.
