I also had an internet connection really early on, I started on a 14.4 modem and can't even tell you how stoked I was when 56K ones came out. Ha... I remember running a BBS on a 300 Baud modem. The beach is about an hour from me, but traffic and sunburn have always made me a fan of the mountains. But at least you got some reading done right? I could spend hours building the perfect music catalog for a road trip, then leave the flash drive sticking out of the computer's usb slot, only to listen to NPR like always for however the length of the trip last.. But at least you got some reading done right? Exactly there's nothing better than laying outside, reading a book. I love it. You have no idea how much I'd love to have mountains near me.
