Oversized massive box (like amazon used not long ago) 2. a padded envelope 3. a pizza box 4. the box used here that is clearly too large, similar to sending a 10" in an LP mailer, without filler BTW, I've received records in each of those types of packaging before. Here's their response to my email requesting a replacement cover: "Hi, We're sorry to hear your package was damaged in the post, we're discussing this with the fulfilment company. We've passed that on to our distribution team and authorised them to send a replacement for you in extra-secure packaging, your replacement will be sent within the next 48hours." The issue with the packaging is that the LP itself should have been in a sleeve or shrink wrap and then packaged in a tighter LP mailer, one that didn't have the "wiggle room". I wound up with a little, very slight damage at the top of the packaging but the record is fine. Just started to spin in and it sounds incredible...worth the wait.
