Official OST and Film Score Thread

Anyone knows if this is a bootleg or something?

Can't find any info about it.

I asked the fellow who runs Milan about this on another board and here was hus response:

"...I just found about this release recently. I think it is a vinyl EP the film’s distributor in France, Gaumont, put together for Record Store Day. We didn’t release it.

It’s not a bootleg. it is legit. But is more of an EP than anything else.

JC"

Still not sure if the sourcing, but it "should" be better than a digital rip since it's being done by the film's production company, but, anyway, there it is.

Phantom of the Opera pre-order up at LITA

kinda torn, some of the clips sound great but some are super cheesy. neat idea for the deluxe edition though...

I'm in the same boat. At first I liked the idea better than the music, but its grown on me. And the film/score is a cool twist on the standard download code. If you like the rescore idea, check out Death & Vanilla's rescore of Vampyr. It's one of the best "scores" this year in my opinion.

LITA has all of the Death Waltz RSD scores up now for only $23 a pop. Might finally pick up in In the Wall since I skipped it on RSD.

This is cheaper than DWRC is selling them for in the UK let alone anywhere here. The Bronx Warriors is probably my favorite.

So anyone know about what time LITA drops DWRC titles on their online store?  I'm assuming it's based on UK time and is extremely early in the US, no?

It was last time, but they often vary. LITA took some decent heat for putting SPM up so early last time so maybe they will wait until a decent hour this time 'round.

Drops the 21st at a random time for everyone not in the USA. Don't suppose you'd fancy buddying up and snaring an extra copy of the Atomic Breath for a lonely feller stateside? Waddaya say, WalnutSoap? I could PayPal you up front and such. Plus, I'm more than happy to return the favor down the line on a USA exclusive release.

Can't find anything on the Spacelab9 site yet, but New On Vinyl say that Spacelab9 are issuing the District 9 soundtrack. I'm sure it will be available elsewhere.

They also say its a 2xLP which seems odd since the track listing they display is only about thirty minutes.
