Tamubro
http://www.nirvana.com/inutero20/ 3cd + 1dvd seems a little pricey if you ask me.
ruckis
3cd + 1dvd seems a little pricey if you ask me. It doesn't matter. They know a bunch of die hard VINYL ADDICTS are gonna pay the inflated prices. Then, once the dust settles, we will all be able to get it for a reasonable price. sugareggs
http://www.nirvana.com/inutero20/ This is beyond insane pricing. Give it a couple of months.

3fingersdown
$150 bucks for 3 CDs and a DVD sounds about right, IF YOUR OUT OF YOUR FUCKING GOURD. Edit: Anyone involved should be sodomized by a water buffalo. Fuck these people.
never
$150 bucks for 3 CDs and a DVD sounds about right, IF YOUR OUT OF YOUR FUCKING GOURD. Edit: Anyone involved should be sodomized by a water buffalo. Fuck these people. Well, luckily for you, you live in a country where you're not forced to buy something that you deem to be over priced. As for me....I live in a country where I'm forced to buy this. So I already bought the $150 box set as well as the 3xLP.
GradedOnACurve
Live and Loud is part of the CD/DVD set, so I really hope we get that audio here too. My favorite live Nirvana recording. Thats awesome! Price...not so much. Heres hoping to an Amazon pricing error.
tonyfranciosa
splitting this album on 2LPs seems pointless to me, even at 45 rpm. I'd rather have 2LPs of bonus content... Nevermind was brickwalled to hell and back, so I don't have high hopes for In Utero. I'll happily stick with my EU Albini mix. danaisalright
Plarocks
I would like to compare an original Nevermind to the MSFL one to the anniversary to the ORG one...but I'm not going to be shelling out the cash for an OG or MSFL so I won't be doing that anytime soon... I actually had an original US Geffen press and the MoFi pressing of Nevermind. The Anadisc MoFi BLEW the original pressing out of the water. My Geffen was also pressed slightly off center. I sold it soon after I found the MoFi. MoFi were in the process of pressing "In Utero" next, but the label went bankrupt. There are some rumored test pressings that were made though. GAWD I would love to find one of those
burntwolf
Do the audiophiles consider the original MoFi label way better than its current incarnation?

burntwolf
In the new EW she claims the anniversary stuff is all marketing hype and she didn't even know it was coming out until the kid told her. She wasnt interested in a live through this anniversary reissue. All the flood of nirvana stuff started after she sold half her rights to that marketing company. So you know she's totally believable. yancey47
I'm intersted in the 45 RPM aspect of it, but the ORG press is so good I might just stick with that and get the CDs.
burntwolf
i haven't been too impressed w/ the 45 RPM releases i've heard...not worth the hassle or the price...
morfiend
http://www.nirvana.com/inutero20/ Waaaay overpriced, which is disappointing. May have to wait until these go on sale somewhere. AndyNewton
kidamnesiac
http://pitchfork.com/news/51886-nirvana-in-utero-reissue-tracklist-revealed/ Albini mixes included as bonus tracks on the CD version. This should also clear up the confusion for some people that the only differences between the final album and the original mix are to be found on "Heart-Shaped Box" and "All Apologies." timsimmons
So I'm guessing the 3LP version is basically this? LP1&2 01 Serve the Servants (Albini mix/original release)02 Scentless Apprentice (Albini mix/original release)03 Heart-Shaped Box (Litt mix/original release)04 Rape Me (Albini mix/original release)05 Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle (Albini mix/original release)06 Dumb (Albini mix/original release)07 Very Ape (Albini mix/original release)08 Milk It (Albini mix/original release)09 Pennyroyal Tea (Albini mix/original release)10 Radio Friendly Unit Shifter (Albini mix/original release)11 tourette's (Albini mix/original release)12 All Apologies (Litt mix/original release) LP313 Gallons Of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip (ex-U.S. bonus track)14 Marigold (B-side; "Heart Shaped Box)15 Moist Vagina" (B-side; "All Apologies")16 Sappy (from No Alternative comp)17 I Hate Myself And Want To Die (from The Beavis and Butt-head Experience)18 Pennyroyal Tea (Litt mix)19 Heart-Shaped Box (Albini mix/unreleased)20 All Apologies (Albini mix/unreleased)
rochambo
I think the LP 1&2 are going to be the 2013 remix, not the Albini mixes and LP 3 will be all the extras. I don't see them releasing the Albini versions through this release. I hope I'm wrong, cause I'd like the Albini mixes on vinyl. I know it's out there, but seems like a hassle to track it down. I can't imagine they would do a release and not have the mix/version of the album that people are used to. As much as I would love for it to supplement the ORG reissue, I don't think they would do that.
