throwgncpr
It will. After you buy the 2013 mix. ^ THIS. It should have always been a proper Albini mix. The 2013 is now my go-to copy.
kannibal
Here's the problem, and hopefully this can clear up some misunderstandings (or just make it worse), except for the album versions of Heart Shaped Box and All Apologies and the single version of Penny Royal Tea, They're ALL Albini mixes!!! So don't use "Albini mix" to describe the 2013 mix, because Albini also mixed the OP, the ORG, and the Anniversary, not to mention(especially because it lacks the Litt mixes of SHB and AA)the 320 and other standard Euro pressings. That being said, the 2013 mix is also my current favorite, and Morfiend, considering the 3 pressings you have are just the 3 same mixes using different masterings, the 2013 mix is actually the most different and most worthy of having alongside an earlier original mix pressing. throwgncpr
I think if you take the album as a whole as an "albini mix" it's easier to chew. Yes, the OP, ORG, and Anniversary (from 3-disc set) all have the same mix, which Albini had a hand in (most songs as you indicate). The 2013 mix however, gave Albini complete freedom, and he revisited all the tracks.
caninesapien
I feel like the 20 years between Albini 1993 and Albini 2013 would give a lot more difference too. I love the 2013 mix, it sounds incredible.
kannibal
I know, I was referring to people calling it the Albini mix. its not wrong, it's just confusing. Call it the 2013 mix. to me, the 2013 mix has a bit more punch or attack. And the rawness and clarity of the vocals are, at times, moving. jsusi

morfiend
It will. After you buy the 2013 mix. *sigh* I caved. I found a copy for $35 ppd, which I thought was pretty fair. Apparently it's the European pressing of the record.
kannibal
Totally worth it man. Even if you like the original better it is different enough to be interesting and at least a little exciting.

jonnyhambone
Except for missing the cellos, the 2013 mix has been my preferred listen over the past year for this album. The guitar snarls and the vocals are fantastic
vinylfilmaholic
I just found a copy of the ORG press of "In Utero" on their MerchNOW page. $30 shipped. Stoked! Can't wait to get it! morfiend
What's the best Incesticide press? Wasn't a 2x 45 rpm version released not too long ago? I have the clear ORG version and I'm pretty happy with it.
timsimmons
Just as good as the 45 pressing IMO. You are good.

mikeburns
Anyone know where to get a 20th anniversary triple vinyl for a decent price online? Most places locally have sold out! Or are insanely expensive.

mikeburns
Hastings has the super deluxe box set in store where live. Which store was this? Thinking may go with Amazon, still will be over $80 NZD to get it shipped here, jbhifi had it online for $70 but are out of stock... think $80 for this is pretty steep (even at triple vinyl). Got it down a bit on amazon to around $72 NZD shipped, thats a better price... thanks everyone!
