jhulud
From SRC: We have received word that the three (probably fourth as well) American Recordings Johnny Cash albums are being reissued on vinyl, due out November 19th. There are some details outlining IV, but not enough to assure an accurate release date so stay tuned for that listing. In the meantime, you can now pre order American Recordings, American II and American III American Recordings I: http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Johnny-Cash-%252d-American-Recordings-LP.html American Recordings II - Unchained: http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Johnny-Cash-%252d-American-II%3A-Unchained-LP.html American Recordings III - Solitary Man: http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Johnny-Cash-%252d-American-III%3A-Solitary-Man-LP.html jtcohenour

jtcohenour
Thanks for posting this. I just got the e-mail for SRC. I'm holding out for the IV reissue. I hope they announce that pressing soon.
The Exquisite Death of NK
Holy crap, this makes me so happy. I adore these releases and own zero of them on vinyl. Am I correct in assuming that this pressing isn't limited? So there isn't much need to pre-order, yes?
kforkevin777
Yeah, I hope these are huge pressings and that an Amazon listing will go up at some point.
BuzzersonKillwell
Great news. These always seemed like prime candidates for a repress so I've avoided dropping loot on them but I am pumped to actually own them. jtcohenour
patrickemmons
Damn, I can finally get "I" and complete my collection, I'll probably grab an original press for cheaper once these are out

TheWindBlower
This is really cool. I've been hoping these would get repressed. Definitely hoping that IV gets a repress as well.
jhulud
I have always been saying that they should have done some massive box set of all of these. I know they kinda did for the CDs, but the LPs would have been killer as a box set. As for me, I've always been a huge Cash fan thanks to my dad. These will be a welcomed addition to my collection. billya
If they re-do them all I may try and make one of those wooden boxes to hold them, but... Dat price.
radiatorhums
Dat price. I'm hoping the price on Amazon will drop closer to $20/ea. If not, I'll probably pick one up every month or two.

500Homeruns
Amazon has IV listed for preorder, but I have my doubts. It's also more expensive than I - III.
jtcohenour
Amazon has IV listed for preorder, but I have my doubts. It's also more expensive than I - III.
