RadDonut
Okay 2 things 1. I just listened to Lights and Motion for the first time because I got an email from Deep Elm about the new album coming out and the new song is freakin' awesome. I hope this gets the vinyl treatment. Does Deep Elm stuff get pressed a lot? I know Athletics and The Appleseed cast but what about anything else? Is there any Lights and Motion already on wax? 2. I think Don was mentioning earlier but my blue copy of the new TWDY album is really really crappy. If dog crap had a sound and it was put on wax I'm pretty sure that is what my record would sound like. Does anyone else have this issue? Edit: I see that Reanimation is on wax so that's cool. abovetheearth
1. Deep Elm is a digital only label. No Lights and Motion on vinyl....yet. If you like him check out U137. you will not be disappointed. the poet is an all time favorite song
RadDonut
I always forget the Deep Elm is digital only! Whoops. That U137 album is killer. I've been jammin' it the last couple of months. Not sure if you saw my edit but Reanimation is on wax through Foreign Sounds http://foreignsounds.storenvy.com/products/4060964-lights-motion-reanimation-gatefold-2xlp Here's the bandcamp link to the new Lights and Motion song http://deepelmdigital.com/track/reborn
batman
careful with the L&M love in here... he's ripped on for being unoriginal, but i really dig 'reanimation' and fucking U137 is unreal. i need that on vinyl.

Probably why I've only spun it twice.
mrewest
Cloudkicker live album is streaming. Sounds freaking incredible. Too bad the vinyl has been delayed...UNTIL THE END OF JANUARY. Ridiculous. But, Danny Walker is a god. Dude is a machine on the drums. cloudkickermusic.com RadDonut and drds89

Ridiculous. But, Danny Walker is a god. Dude is a machine on the drums. cloudkickermusic.com seems like everything is getting pushed into 2015, but I'm getting slammed at work, so if not around, got my PMs set up to go to my email. Can't wait to stream the live nautkicker while doing paperwork. (thank you obummercare)... Listened to Charlie's rec from Crowquill: http://crowquillrecords.com/products/531497 Oecist. Wow, that was good, bought mp3's after 1 listen. Didn't knock my teeth out at all - really great heaviness without sludgey to me, super listenable melodies. As one reviewer said, hope this dude has more music in him! adios for a while, think I got all the PMs caught up, and will hopefully be back soon. Still checking IG but no time to shoot/post. abovetheearth
Don. I just realized that Oesist is the labels owner. It's good but knowing he did everything himself makes me love it more.
mrewest
I'll have to check that one out. BTW, anyone ever pick up sleepmakeswaves? I am still digging that one hard, but haven't splurged on vinyl yet. This one might be making my top 5 this year (instrumental-wise at least). drds89
I'm having to stay mp3 even though I love that album, unless I get a surprise gift like someone sent me on "...and so we destroyed everything"
mrewest
Curious if anyone saw this "top post-rock" bands list. Like seeing ITTCT getting love, but GIAA was ranked number 1. Whaaaa?? And then if you read the comments, apparently the dude that made the list had never even listened to Russian Circles. http://theculturemag.com/music/best-post-rock-bands/

Green what? Blink who? What a dingus. Caspian didn't even make his list, so he knows jack, in my opinion. Haha.
