Youinreverse
I don't know why I haven't picked this album up sooner, but Explosions In The Sky's album "The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place" is on sale today for only $10 to commemorate the 10 year anniversary. http://shop.temporaryresidence.com/trr61 Derek™, ajismetal, ratbrain and 1 other
Derek™
Thank you for the link, I had no idea the album was nearing its 10 year anniversary. Awesome. I actually have a good friend who's just recently gotten into post-rock, and she adores this album. At $10 for a double LP, I'll gladly pick one up as an early Christmas gift. Cheers. raynerho
Thank you for posting this. Caught them on sat when they were in Singapore and it was the most intense 80 mins of my life. Glad to buy this and the rest of their discographyn
vinylfilmaholic
Grabbed one, thanks for posting this. Been wanting this album for a while! $12.98 shipped is a steal!
toomanyrecords
Tempted but discogs says the repress (this one I'm assuming) is a bad pressing with weak sleeves. Any truth to this?
radiatorhums
Tempted but discogs says the repress (this one I'm assuming) is a bad pressing with weak sleeves. Any truth to this? I picked my copy four years ago and is most likely identical to the copies Temp Res is selling now. I'm not at home, so I can't check for sure, but I believe that the discs are in printed inner sleeves. If I'm thinking of the right thing (which I think I am), I remember them being fairly thin, but they were fine (no splits). I remember the discs sounding really good also, no idea what that bozo on discogs is talking about.

throwgncpr
Concur. I also have the press and it sounds great. Yeah, the sleeve is a little thin, but TR does an awesome job of keeping the costs down and keeping these great albums in print. Buy this record now if you don't already own it. dreamover
Tempted but discogs says the repress (this one I'm assuming) is a bad pressing with weak sleeves. Any truth to this? the first pressing which is very limited compared to the current version had a gatefold jacket. that's really the only difference. the records sound great. i wouldn't not buy a record (for $10, no less) because it's not a gatefold. Burkazoid
An absolute bargain. One of my favourite albums.
jonnywreck
Dreamover is my favorite poster. Bought this immediately, along with "Those Who Tell The Truth...", also for 10 dollars. $24 ppd.

gmoney
Truth time: This record made me fall in love with the vinyl format. First time I put it on my player, I cried like a baby. Can't believe it's been 10 years. mmhmm
Guest
Tempted but discogs says the repress (this one I'm assuming) is a bad pressing with weak sleeves. Any truth to this? Ironically, i just listened to this last night and both of my sleeves busted when i put the vinyl back in. Pressing sounds great, but i can agree about the sleeves. Still, for $10, you can't go wrong.
ChardeeMacDennis
who cares about sleeves...get yourself some mofi sleeves and you're good to go!
radiatorhums
who cares about sleeves...get yourself some mofi sleeves and you're good to go! I was just going to suggest that. As long as the sleeves show up in tact and you can get the records out of them without causing damage, problem solved!

eight1echo
Dreamover is my favorite poster. Bought this immediately, along with "Those Who Tell The Truth...", also for 10 dollars. $24 ppd. Got both as well. Was closer to $40 for my Canadian self but still a really good deal, relatively.
thomasj182
Pressing sounds awesome. I've had no issues with the sleeves and I've owned this now for close to 3 years. I've let friends borrow it and it gets fairly regular play from me. 10 for this, not an option in my opinion.

vinylfilmaholic
I haven't ordered from Temp Residence in years, does anyone know if they send a shipped e-mail or a tracking number? Or should I be prepared to sit in front of my door eagerly awaiting my copy, similar to Scott Pilgrim?
MattBastosLol
Damn I was too late. Might pick it up anyway, I love this album.
