ChardeeMacDennis
Ok, nothing was terrible live. Anyone else witness the shit show at mammal gallery?
Royce
Ok, nothing was terrible live. Anyone else witness the shit show at mammal gallery? So are whirr and pity sex (well the guy singer), shoegaze singers are rarely good live.
NoStairwayDenied
shoegaze singers are rarely good live. This is true, but is the singing really why you listen to shoegaze? Not really. I saw Ringo Deathstarr recently and their singing was pretty good though.
nostalgicbummer
saw them in june I thought they were pretty on point, vocals were buried pretty deep behind everything and didn't bother memay be checking em out next week on the ceremony tour
jhulud
Saw them while in Boston. They were great. The sound mix was perfect and on point.
tropicrot
Despite being almost incoherently drunk both times I've seen them, I think they actually pull together pretty well live. Can't wait to see them again next Friday.
O4Onyee
Ok, nothing was terrible live. Anyone else witness the shit show at mammal gallery? Couldn't even really hear the vocals (which I guess is common for that whole shoegaze scene) but I thought it was ok. Sidenote: I thought The Mammal Gallery was a pretty cool venue, last night was the first show I've seen there.
Royce
This is true, but is the singing really why you listen to shoegaze? Not really. I understand this and agree, no it's not. It's supposed to be low and mixed into the music. However it's even better when the band has a great singer that can be heard. and i'll take back what i said (kinda), they are not as good live. Sad Heart
Seeing them in August for the first time (they always skip UT). Fingers crossed for a good PA.
cephcarn4
Sound was not the best at the BK bazaar but they still ruled. I love seeing them, cannot wait to see them open for MLIW in august
faceghost
Saw them a couple months ago and they were fucking awesome. Seeing them again next week with Ceremony in a better venue, can't wait.
abovetheearth
My buddy is opening for them in august. I can't fucking wait for that show. I'll def be hanging out behind the scenes.
drds89
really? how come discogs doesnt corroborate that $6 price tag? A possibility: sometimes a seller lists multiple items and potential buyer makes contact and offers a package deal. Example: $90 listing for one record / make offer; and $20 for this one - and buyer asks can you do both for $100ppd ( $90 + $6 for this one) + $4 ship, and the listing drops. jhulud
Picked up this shirt at their show this past Sunday.
Danh
Nice pick up, jhulud. I usually don't like shirts with quotes in big fonts, but that one looks really awesome.
faceghost
Also got that shirt the last time I saw them. What else did they have for merch?
jhulud
They had two other shirts. The "Fuck It" tour shirt on white and the "Get Well" one with the pills on front.
abovetheearth
this was the better choice.

shawnayala90
I'd be more into the get well shirt if it didn't have pills on it
cephcarn4
I got the Get well shirt. Its become my favorite nothing shirt. By far the coolest nirvana knock off they have made so far!
FangsAnalSatan
I got this one and like it a lot.
codeine
Just checked this album out. Vibes I'm getting are along the lines of Hum meets Smashing Pumpkins, with a pinch of No Knife in the mix.
Sad Heart
I got this one and like it a lot. My buddy works for CCM and hooked me up with the DIG shirt which in my opinion is their (Nothing) best shirt.
