I had something that had a door, and there was trouble getting some records out because of the hinges so I took the doors off. Also, lame as it sounds, it's a conversation piece of sorts. Yeah, they are $43 for each double cube, then like $10 for the feet. You don't have to get the feet, but it makes them look better. They fit about 50-60 records per shelf, so double that per double cube. They are about 14" wide I think? Probably just a tiny bit bigger than an Expedit shelf. No, no problems getting records out behind the doors since they open all the way up. The door will open well past 180 degrees, so no worries. So far they've worked out great for me. I keep thinking about buying an expedit instead of adding more than these, but I really like that it is a basically dust-free solution. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
