I am taken aback at how different the sound is from Dream Punx and even the demos. Complete 180 on style and approach. Reminds me a whole lot of staying up late on Sunday nights in 1989 to watch 120 Minutes. Sounds like Dave has been listening to a lot of Information Society and early Depeche Mode. Piling on I guess, when Anne just became the solo act and released those tracks several months ago, it was not the direction I was going either. Then he got on Twitter and let it all hang out ...nonstop. I had to unfollow in a couple of days I hope this feedback can be used constructively and not viewed as just dissing. But, I agree with the general consensus. I don't like the style change at all. It's not even that I dislike the style he's doing now, it's just that I don't think he does it very well.
