i don't think there's any pressing of any record that would get me to buy vinyl (or anything) from fucking wal mart.

I know people love the original 4, but other than her input to Billy on songs/production, D’arcy isn’t anything extraordinary to the band performance wise. never got the hang up on always needing her. Melissa was a better addition IMO.

The singer Brandin was a regular at a bar where I did sound for a bit and suffice it to say that he has never stopped living in and for the moment that they recorded their first music video. I genuinely think it's the only thing he ever talked about to me... which was pretty surreal, because I loved them on that show. There's no one more sad than a drunken failed rock star at the local watering hole.

I'm also sad I missed this... I think it's one of my favourites too. I saw them live maybe 15 years ago, and despite "I know you are but what am I" being one of their most calm songs, it had some of the heaviest bass I've ever experienced live... Agreed that 'hunted by a freak' is one of their best. It's one of the few songs I went out of my way to learn to play on guitar too!
