Luna has been posting several copies on Discogs - both the black and blue vinyl - the past week or so.

I'd love to see a compiled list of how many copies of each lathe were ordered. I bet there's huge discrepancies between the smaller bands and more popular ones. I guess if everyone here posts the amount pressed for the one they ordered, we'd end up with a pretty complete list.

This turntable is the vinyl equivalent of those bouncing cars in hip-hop videos. Sure it's technically possible, but why?

I agree with this 100%. Not everyone's an audiophile that needs a $500+ system. Particularly if you're just starting out, use whatever you have or can afford to have and enjoy the music. Don't beat the hell out of your vinyl and at some point in the future if the opportunity presents itself and you want to upgrade to something nicer, go for it.

Those MJ "Thriller" picture discs from Urban Outfitters are only going to sound so good, no matter what system you play them on.

That's awsome! Yeah, I saw a story about this guy on the news. Apparently he cut everything he and his wife owned in half and is eBaying his halves - everything from their MacBook to their car. I'm still not sure if it's a publicity stunt for some artist...

If they want eBay prices then why plays games with offers and such? Just list the things on eBay and be done with it. (Of course, then they'd have to pay eBay commissions. And risk the chance that something actually goes for a bargain price, if it's an auction and not BIN...)
