I was late to the party on these Unwound box sets, but man, these are just amazing. So well done.

I buy probably 5-7 new records a week, and can probably count on one hand how many times I've spent $30 on a single LP for a new release.

Not sure how I missed these MGB re-releases, but that's fantastic, have been wanting Beautiful Midnight and Underdogs to get pressed forever!

I don't seem to ever recall getting shipping notifications from Drag City, considering they ship for free, I don't mind at all.

I don't understand the alure at that price point, way too many regularly priced albums out there I want. Flippers will be crying, what with Jack cutting into their margins.

Buyer beware of drommusik on discogs, ordered the Velvet Underground box, asked if I could pay immediately and he'd get it out the next day and update paypal and discogs. Two weeks later neither of those has happened and he will not respond to any inquiries, it appears he has screwed over a bunch of buyers in the last couple of weeks.

It's a good deal for sure if you're buying in bulk. I know quite a few people seemed to have problems with them when they were most recently putting up there great deals, but I haven't had any. Again I think the issue seems to be when it's one or two items, the packaging is shoddy, but otherwise seems fine when you buy several.

Wiretap Scars and Ancient Melodies of the Future were big ones for me this year.

I'm really curious for those who feel taken advantage of from a cost standpoint why they feel they got screwed. Isn't the record exactly what was advertised? I didn't splurge myself, so I'm just wondering.

Jesus. I'm curious how many of those they actually sent out. They had to lose their ass on all of these various deals.

My favorite band at the moment that I haven't seen is Wand, and of course I just happened to find out they played a show near me a week after I looked, at a venue I've never heard of.
