vinyl addict

this is so obviously not a USPS issue and is an issue where Sandbag printed labels and then sat on packages. mine was printed on the 15th and still has not budged. please give the USPS my package, Sandbag. I beg of you.

Oh i got that email. It has done very little to assuage my issues. Never was a fan of buck passing, especially when I paid over $200 for this stuff 9 months ago. 

I read a little while back that it was going to be more precise and even include pictures of the packages.

I think they've tried to revamp their system.  Lately things have been saying "on their way to the destination" or "arrived in the network".  So it seems like they're tweaking the descriptions of tracking updates.
 
Yesterday tracking was down entirely for a while, so something is fucky.

The amount of dust in this picture makes me want to sneeze just looking at it. I'm not the most thorough/regular duster, but daaaaamn. Glad you cleaned up

Broken received from discogs seller. So that means they shipped to him, he listed it and shipped it to me. All before an actual company could send me anything

Wow and all of us who preordered the first hour, the first day.. still waiting.... 

At some point someone asked for a comparison between the OG press of the Fragile vs the Repess. I played Somewhat Damaged from the Og press before putting on the new one. the sound pretty similar, I dont have a blow your dick off system so results may vary. Im nearing the end of the 1st side the reissue sounds cleaner, everything sounds more up front, a little louder. Overall I think it was just mixed more evenly. That's my 2 cents anyhow. 

Mine have been fine for the last few years. I DO have them all mounted to the wall also.

Any have tracking numbers updating? Mine haven't at all yet. 

Just started listening to The Fragile.
Using a Rega RP40 with Elys40 cart.
 
Sounds incredible. It's pressed a tad quieter than some of my other LPs. The LP has almost no surface noise that I can tell, thus far. And I didn't wet wash before playing. 
 
Good mix overall, seems well balanced, nice bass but not overpowering. Album is punchy and dynamic. Everything is where it should be in the mix. You will be pleased.

Well. I guess Sandbag took notice of my bitching & moaning on Twitter that they're sending me a replacement jacket for the damaged replacement jacket. 
 

 
 

How about some sound reviews from those who have received vinyl?

That Ready to Die quote said this stuff has never been pressed to vinyl. I'm pretty sure this version has every track and all the samples.

Why exactly are there so many people thinking it'll be this? Something I'm missing? Because there are many rap albums in the 90s that cut tracks out and never included them on subsequent represses

The Chris Bellman mastering of Lateralus on black vinyl would make me happy as a pig in shit.  You can hear how good it should be on the pic disc, but I want to hear his job on straight black wax. Maybe they got CB to do all the others as well?  PLEASE, no picture discs, no colors, just good old boring black.
