Got engaged to this lovely lady over the weekend. Thanks to everyone who bought stuff off my list over the last couple months that helped pay for an expensive ring.

Totally happened to me too, but I didn't go that far haha.
I actually just finished listening to "Roads to Judah" on vinyl (spinning the new Baulta record now ) and I have Sunbather in my car at the moment.
I know this might sound gay or whatever to those hardened internet collectors here, but Saturday after a long, grueling day of work I was listening to "Dreamhouse" on my ride home. The ride is short, and I got to my driveway about halfway through the song. Turned my car off, and just sat there with "Dreamhouse" finishing at full blast.
The bridge fucking made me cry. It was so bizarre. The emotionality of the music just fucking engulfed me, and I started crying. It was kind of amazing. Not like a bawling emo-sissy thing, but like... kind of what happens when you watch soldier homecoming videos... just a sweet, emotional thing.
This band is so good. I love that they actually use real production on their albums, and not the sampled mechanical sound most metal bands use today. I hate that shit. The drums sound like actual drums played by a person.
These guys are high on my bucket list to see live. Could you imagine a show with like, Deafheaven, Junius, Rosetta, and like, sleepmakeswaves or something?
    drool...

Any Staind or Sevendust fans here? Both bands have so many great albums, yet no vinyl pressings (STILL) even after vinyl has gotten so popular again.
They would sell quickly I'm sure, not like there isn't demand!
(Que the haters who hate these bands for whatever reason)

He lost me when his songs began to sound like finger exercises on spanish guitar. Up until then it was all fine and dandy. Pulled me back in with Perils which is up there with his best work. Benji bordered on banal and embarrassing but all the fanfare on that record made me feel like I was in the minority. Fair to say the outlook for this one isn't good.

Haha. You guys are ridiculous. Maybe I just used a blue sharpie to color it?

The labels are perfectly aligned. What you see is the record on the white sleeve, with the sleeve holes showing through. The record is in fact translucent blue.

I never once stated that was here looking to "hook up someone who deserves it". I came in here and posted a picture of a record that people didn't seem to think existed to show that it did in fact, exist. I DID state that I would entertain offers if someone wanted to make one. Frankly, most of the offers I got were quite low to not even justify selling it. I bought a copy of this record because i really like the record, and I kind of wish it just ended up being black.

Is posting it on discogs for $500 "laughable". Absolutely. It was the only forum I could use to offer someone outside of this forum the opportunity to acquire this record. The offers I have received via Discogs have been more than acceptable; way more than anything offered here.  I don't like being tasked with having to decide who is most deserving of this record. I just want to get it out of my possession.

I have decided to post this record on eBay so that the market will dictate what i sell this record for. I will be posting it for 99cents. Once i can figure out how to use the eBay charity function, i will be posting the auction with 50% of the profits donated to PAWS Chicago, a no kill animal shelter. If the record ends up selling for 99cents, so be it. I hope it finds a good home. I will take the profits and go out and buy another copy to listen to and hope that it doesn't end up being blue.

$169 and I've heard very good things about it. The price difference is because you have to attach it to your current vacuum to it because it doesn't have the internal components, and it's manual.

I rebuilt an old VPI HW-17, and have been very pleased with it. That said, if I did it over again, I'd just buy an HW-16.5 ($650), since I use the multi-stage AIVS cleaning system that basically makes the applicator brush irrelevant (and cost of the used HW-17 plus parts came pretty close to $650 anyway).
If you go that route, I'd also recommend looking around online for fan installation modification instructions.

No photo of the vinyl, as you know what black 180 gram looks like.

The positives? I have this and didn't pay an outrageous amount for it. It sounds great.

    Negatives? None really, just wishes.
I wish it was a matte jacket, maybe with the horses embossed so they stick out slightly, spot gloss on those badboys? ::drool::
Also wish it was a gatefold.
    Both just personal preferences though.

It really does sound phenomenal though.
