This makes no sense. Why would you pay the Discogs' fees just to "drive up the market value"?? Then there's the risk of sitting on your new highly valued record for an undetermined amount of time until someone buys it. People like that are idiots.

All jokes aside, I've been thinking about selling off certain variants and replacing them with $12 standard black copies from Amazon, while pocketing $50+ per record. The bubble is insane. 

I got a Joey Ramone and Woodstock Jimi Hendrix yesterday. I think I'll be pretty content on Funko purchases for awhile.

May cancel and order from Amazon so my money isn't tied up in SRC for the next year. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled some real shady shit since they're closing down their brick & mortar shop.

It's been a while since I've been back but I was born in New Albany, so we'd go across the river relatively often as a kid, and I started out going to college at U of L until I dropped out. These are exactly the type of recommendations I was looking for though.

Mellow Mushroom is a chain started in Athens, Georgia.  They're quite prevalent in the south, specifically college towns, but have grown a decent ways.  I know there's one in Iowa City now as well.   I personally love the chain, I've yet to have a sub par bite at any of their locations.

Guestroom Records is where it's at now. Incredible selection. If you're into good pizza, Mellow Mushroom on Bardstown is fucking fantastic. I believe it's a chain but I've never seen another one. Gourmet ingredients and tons of good beers and ciders. If you want some local
New York style pie, Spinelli's is pretty alright for slice pie, and they'll probably have a good show happening as well. 
 
Hope you enjoy Louisville. It's my favorite place I've been, besides Seattle.

Hyped to see an Indiana band get some love

Those Gallows records are probably never getting repressed unfortunately. But if I end up being wrong sometime down the line, I'll be very very excited. Frank Carter is a fucking enigma. 

Interesting take. Could just be geographic differences but I always felt like they were brushed off by many since they were on victory during a time when victory was mostly releasing terrible music (probably still are?). The current will carry us isnt mindblowing but its solid enough and i thought the difference between hell and home was awesome. obviously, the last record was real good as well. I cant think of too many other bands that have picked up where bands like shai hulud and strongarm left off and have done it nearly as well.  

I look at the first 3 albums like they're from 3 different bands. There's enough differences on each to make them their own thing and each one is good for different reasons. Hell, even Penny Black was good.

I'm with OP. Would love a copy with the peel and a variant would be cool too, but my copy was hella cheap. This is my favorite pre-70s album.
