Kids see ghosts? As Bruce Willis is Dead I say "Pfft...been there. Let me know when you're on some new shit"

ejc625 got a reaction from corey. in PO (Soon): Damien Rice - O
The standard gatefold is still a super nice package and layout. Haven’t had a chance to listen to that version yet though.
Damien posted on twitter yesterday that he would be releasing a new song today, “100 Miles Across The Room”.

I'd say the price was fair, but not necessarily great. It's 7 relatively short songs that are decent, but not phenomenal.
I wouldn't argue it any further than saying that though.

ejc625 reacted to mmhmm in PO: Dashboard Confessional Reissues
There's 13 songs on A Mark, A Mission...??? I never make it past the first three.

Please tell me this isn’t the only dashboard album they pressed?

Yeah crazy how a band’s sound can evolve over time...
arent you glad glad they aren’t releasing the same material over and over again though?

ejc625 reacted to glass realms in Recent purchases
Well actually half the records (and all the CDs) were bought in Hawaii. In true record nerd style, I packed a couple of mailers in my luggage and brought them back home in a second carry-on.

Got the standard press yesterday. I will say, I was kind of less excited with all the push backs, but after seeing the packaging in person - the familiarity of the artwork - but also the quality of the jacket (thick/matte) I was happy to finally own it. And then the printed inner sleeves, with artwork from the live at union chapel CD was a nice touch.
And as people have been saying, it sounds great. I don't know if 180 gram or not, and if that's common knowledge then whoops, but it feels hefty as well.

It is $13 on the official web shop but comes out to around $20 after shipping and taxes I think.

According to a friend with close ties, Anti Mother is getting pressed next. Bless The Martyr wont happen, no one in the band currently was in the band for that record so it'd be weird to press it.

ejc625 reacted to Stress On The Sky in PO: Dear And The Headlights - Small Steps, Heavy Hooves//Drunk Like Bible Times
copped one in spite of the fact that I know I'll get burned for importing it. Cannot stop listening to Small steps. Had never heard these guys before this week but they are just amazing. The curse of finding new music through here is strong, my bank account weeps.

Never heard of this band before 'till yesterday evening, and now I wonder how I could live without them in my life.
