New song kind of just sounds like Sorceress 2. I liked Sorceress, so that’s not bad, but it’s not what I had hoped. The single also reminds me of Cusp of Eternity in that it’s a solid song but just kind of plain and not doing anything for me. Mikael did say that all the songs are different and this was a clear single, so the rest of the album could be different. We’ll see.
 
On the positive side, the lead guitar, especially the solo, is great. Frederick is a monster. I love the combination of technical power and nuanced emotion.

I personally don't use Reverb for buying or selling but I just read the Sales Tax FAQ on their site and it looks like the setup there is already similar to what Discogs is implementing. Honestly, Discogs was one of the last holdouts; Amazon, eBay, Etsy, etc. have all been doing this for some time.
 
I'm afraid with how easily its become to track digital transactions, unless you're dealing with well-concealed cash in a plain paper envelope or some super-anonymous cryptocurrency the government is going to find a way to take "their fair share."

Has vinyl become mainstream enough that I can submit a network pilot for an "Odd Couple" like pair of roommates? They'd be a pair of twentysomething males in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Both would buy records but one would do it for the love of the music while the other is a "no-good flipper." The opening credits would show them flipping through dusty stacks of vinyl, one unearthing a rare Velvets acetate while heart symbols appear over his head, the other coming across something equally rare with dollar signs above his. There'd be a scene in line at RSD where the one guy is working on his want-list and looking forward to spinning his new purchases later that day while the flipper is paying off homeless dudes with booze to hold his place in line at Rough Trade and Academy. A running joke would be that our purist has an amazing turntable setup costing a small fortune while the flipper doesn't even own a record player, and in fact doesn't even know how to play one.

Hate to do this to those of you who don't have good luck with thrift stores, but I've been hitting that one with the good score a lot lately hoping for more from the same batch to come out and today I got first presses of Pink  Floyd - Animals, and The Wall, Led Zep - The Song Remains the Same, and Queen - News of the World (and Kansas Leftoverture because I didn't have a copy, but it's nothing special).
