This stuff always brings out the armchair psychologists. Vulnerability is uncomfortable to encounter, especially when it's done in a way that's different than how we'd do it or say it. I don't know this guy or what he's really going through but I'm reminded how vulnerability in others often serves as a mirror for ourselves. And how we respond to it/others says a lot more about us than him. The guy in front of my girlfriend and I bought  a fuckton of stuff. Turns out he was just a super-friendly dad and this was his first RSD. He works at a different record store that wasn't participating. Half of what he was buying was non-RSD stuff and he was just happy to be partaking. It was really wholesome in the sea of grody peeps

Looks like a past girlfriend talks about her relationship with Cam and how he was emotional abusive. Also documents how SN guitarist Adam tried to get her to take down a comment to Cams statement. 
 
My thoughts: Rape is a criminal offense. Its very serious and anyone who does it should face the consequences. Also, Cam seems to have some major issues with control within relationships. Heck as a husband, I have to work on never trying to belittle my wife. Its a fine line, and some of the stuff in this article makes you wonder how men in the society view their relationships/women in general. Very unfortunate for all in involved, especially the victims.

I’m not saying it’s not a confusing situation and it certainly could happen to anyone but the girl was asleep and he started having sex with her and she says she was raped.  Consenting to sex once, twice, one hundred times is not the same thing as consenting every time. I don’t think Cam thought he wasn’t doing anything wrong but that doesn’t make it right. Now this friend of Nicole does say that she did not want this brought into the public eye so in that sense of things she certainly did fuck up.
