Thanks, I was surprisingly able to get some from a distributor overseas even though they're sold out from the band and label. For those who missed out, I should have them available early next week in my shop. They'll likely be priced at $9.99.

I'm sure we have a handful of Skinny Puppy fans who would be into these. I know I've been waiting for a Doubting Thomas press for quite some time.

    Doubting Thomas - The Infidel

Originally released on the seminal Wax Trax! label, the Doubting Thomas sessions were recorded in between sessions for VIVIsectVI and Rabies, by Cevin Key and Dwayne Goettel (Skinny Puppy) and also featured the talents of Tom Ellard (Severed Heads). This incredible triple-vinyl reissue is fully authorized by Cevin Key and includes the entire Infidel album remastered, plus the Father Don't Cry EP.
Doubting Thomas started as a collaboration between Key and Goettel, when tracks that didn't fit for Skinny Puppy were collected and stored for later use. By 1990, the two had enough material for an EP, and Wax Trax! released the now-classic and essential Father Don't Cry on 12" vinyl. Later in 1991, Wax Trax! released the full-length The Infidel, which to date has never been issued on vinyl. An anniversary edition on CD came out on Key's own Subsconscious imprint in the mid-2000s, but a vinyl version remained elusive, until now that is.
Toronto-based Artoffact Records is proud to announce a definitive triple-vinyl edition of The Infidel, complete with Father Don't Cry, and packaged in an out-of-this-world triple gatefold sleeve, with restored artwork and remastered audio. Available on black, green, and a collectors' edition pressed on split black/white vinyl.

    Cyberaktif - Tenebrae Vision

A beautiful double-LP vinyl reissue collecting the complete works of Cevin Key and Bill Leeb project Cyberaktif.
In 1990, Bill Leeb of Front Line Assembly, as well as cEvin Key and Dwayne R. Goettel of Skinny Puppy joined forces to record one of the most iconic releases in the industrial genre: Cyberaktif! Artoffact Records presents a remastered 2LP vinyl edition of Tenebrae Vision, including both the Temper and Nothing Stays singles, and a rare bonus cut of Nothing Stays, edited by Beatbox Inc.
The double LP is housed in an amazing gatefold sleeve with artwork restored. The audio is fully remastered (sounds AMAZING) and let's not forget that two tracks feature Blixa Bargeld from Einstürzende Neubauten! An epic reissue for an epic masterpiece.

Good to someone else interested in these on here. Artoffact has been releasing a lot of Skinny Puppy related stuff (cEvin's solo records and most of Download's non-Nettwerk releases) all of which I've been picking up.
cEvin key posted the mock-up of the Cyberaktif splatter pressing last week on Facebook and I've been anxiously awaiting a preorder but the Doubting Thomas release took me by surprise when they announced it this morning. I'm happy to see that they are both "complete" collections (though the DT record is missing some compilation tracks). The Infidel was one of my favorite records when I was a teenager so I'm pretty stoked to be getting a vinyl pressing.
I ordered the /100 pressings of both. Also threw in the Metropolis pressings of KMFDM's Symbols and Tear Garden's Have A Nice Trip that Storming The Base is carrying.

I don't consider 1" to be a ding - too large, discogs' near mint allows for minor blemishes and now you're changing what you said about near mint needing to be perfect but...

Cars aren't delivered in a cardboard box that gets thrown around on its way across the country. Also a ding on a car is something the dealer would/could fix because you're paying thousands of dollars and not $20.

As a guy running a small label, it sucks when the shipping process goes so terrible.  I am very hands on with everything I do, and it's literally just my wife and I.  We do everything from social media posts, project management, distribution, marketing and (some) PR, website, design, mailorder, ISRC coding,  literally everything.   It always bums me out to hear when someone gets a record from us that is damaged when we take great care in the packing process, yet somehow the USPS (or other carrier) absolutely trashes the package.  Mind you, this doesn't happen often, but it's worse when the person on the receiving end assumes that we as a label would pack it up already damaged or as if we intentionally made it so the customer would receive  a damaged item.  I have literally all label lines of communication linked to my phone specifically to ensure that I can get back to people almost immediately, and trying to keep people in the loop as quickly as possible is usually the best step we've been able to take in trying to keep the damage minimal.  Vinyl is expensive as hell, so it should be treated as a big deal for both the label and the customer when things go wrong, rightfully so.

I'd like to think we are pretty good with working with people on the rare occasion when this does happen, and although it costs us in the end, it's the right thing to do.  Hell, in one case, a guy in Ireland got a record that was literally FOLDED IN HALF.  He sent pics, and although it cost us about $50 to resend it, hoping that it would not show up the way it did the first time, we did it anyway.  It's a bitch, but again, it's the right thing to do.   Only part that sucks is the money lost, especially when a pressing plant sends over defective product to the label (trust me, this can happen even after you've approved test pressings....it's not a fail safe).  So it goes, I guess.  In the end, it's worth it to see the customer happy, or if that's not possible, try to compromise and make it work to get there.

Long winded post, sorry.  I guess it's just that as a label manager and a guy who orders a ton of vinyl over mailorder for myself, I can see both sides of the coin.

That's like purchasing a shitty car and then blaming the bank that gave you the loan.

I caved and ordered Deviations since it's supposedly not being sold in stores. $80 was tough to swallow but if it's even half as good as The Fragile I'm sure I'll love it.

I'm mostly luke warm on the post-Fragile stuff myself.  I don't know if I've enjoyed a full album since then, but there seem to be enough songs that I like to keep me coming back.  I probably should've waited too, but I got too caught up in the excitement

Or, you could stop ordering records and then an hour later change your mind and cancel.  They would be better off not having to deal with "customers" like yourself who can't commit to something they ordered less than an hour ago.

The site is great.  Create a feature that stops idiots like the one above from ordering so you can focus on more important things and you'll really have something great on your hands

Congrats, that looks fantastic! As for the album, the jury is still out for me. I'm not overly impressed so far but I'm gonna continue listening to it on and off for the rest of the week. I'm a huge fan of everything up through Damnation but everything else since then has been pretty hit or miss.

Caught YOB, Down and Pentagram last night, all were awesome. Pentagram blew me away, probably the best set I've seen at the fest so far and I'm not even a huge fan. We had dinner at Lucky's last night and Electric Wizard sat at the table right next to us, that was pretty weird lol.
