So apparently Blink's dropping an 8 track EP in the fall, 4 tracks sound like Nine, 4 sound like TOYPAJ material. Sounds like Quarantine is one of the latter batch so who knows at this point.
 
 

Yea, I will always catch them live, but his vocals live are always so hit or miss. 

I'd be curious to see if old account information will be revived as well for Dead Format, or if it's a totally clean start.

I do the same for my Less Than Jake collection. Makes it a lot easier for me to keep track of what I have and am looking for compared to Discogs.

I started listening to it when he first started and love it. Only downside is they're so long, I end up taking a few days to listen to each episode and now I'm super behind haha.

Has anyone else noticed that in the promo pic of the album, the spine says "where is your humble?"

So, long story short: I got a sealed white copy that I would like to trade for a Malort. Any takers? I don't care if it's sealed or not as long as it's not thrashed.

1234 In Oakland had a restock of Sunburst and mentioned the restock was the last available from the distributor. Def worth checking your local shop to see if they have any left.

I have a purple cover copy with clear vinyl..not really sure I want to sell, though, because I love all the songs on it.

Vinnie (ex-Less Than Jake) started a new musical and comic project with Obi Fernandez (Westbound Train). It's a 22 page comic, with an accompanying musical soundtrack featuring Vinnie on drums/lyrics, a couple of RBF horn players a handful of other people. Been digging the  song they posted on the kickstarter page. It's already reached the original fund goal, now they're pushing for stretch goals. Color vinyl stretch goal has already been reached too. Bonus to any kickstarter backers by the weekend is a screening of the Pick It Up Ska Movie with Taylor (Ska Movie), Vinnie and Obi doing commentary over the screening, and then a Q&A after with most of the band.

Vinnie posted a Kickstarter for "We Are the Inevitables", a comic book and companion musical soundtrack. Looks like the project is mainly his and Obi Fernandez's (Westbound Train) brainchild. The band features a bunch of people in it. Vinnie on drums, features a couple former RBF horn players (Billy Kottage and Matt Appleton) as well as from Big D, The Swellers, BTMI/Jeff Rosenstock's Band and Nightmare for a Week.

Includes a couple of vinyl options, standard black vinyl and a Limited Edition Cover version, and looks like a standard 22 page comic book and a limited edition sketch book version of the comic. Looks like it'll upgrade to a color vinyl if they reach the $25K stretch goal. Been digging the song that's posted on the Kickstarter page.

USPS media mail has was horrific pre-pandemic and is now a complete dumpster fire. then, USPS priority mail started going into the shitter in april.
 
since about early april, i've bitten many a shipping cost bullet and ordered (if offered, especially if buying through an eBay/Discogs/independent seller)) with shipping strictly via FedEx 2-day at a minimum (and even FedEx express/overnight, if possible) in an attempt to avoid most problems. if ordering D2C or a mail-order division of webstore -- or an artist's webstore, i choose the highest level of shipping.  extremely costly, but, so far, money well spent -- essentially no delivery delays or problems. 
 
stopped buying from international sellers, too (unless forced, in which case i have opted for the highest priority -- and tracked -- shipping method available).
 
but now these ridiculous mini-contracts being made by USPS with FedEx/UPS/Amazon as stopgap funding measures to support fund USPS (Congress isn't taking any immediate action to address the issue), where USPS takes over control of final stages of delivery (e.g. "UPS Mail Innovations" -- what a farce; innovative?), is really m(f)ucking my hatched plan, making my monetary outlay for postage start to look beyond foolish when i pit potential postal frustration against the dent in my pocketbook.

i emailed smartpunk about a different order, but asked about the LTJ preorders. here's what they told me.
 
The band has been working on different artwork for those who ordered in the initial 300, which will be given the #1-300 in which they were ordered. This is the latest information we have, hope that helps!
