jerseydave77
This is about 20+ years too late and Corey is way too busy with Corey's Angels to do this. http://www.vice.com/read/i-went-to-corey-feldmans-birthday-party

jerseydave77
And if they can get Astin, Brolin and Chunk to do it then I'll consider seeing it. I can't figure out why Donner wants to do it since he hasn't directed in 8 years and is 86 so I'm hoping it's because he has something awesome to share. jerseydave77
If the adult version of Mouth isn't a fallen star pathetically striving to recapture his glory days then the role is likely too big a stretch for Feldman to pull off at this point. kyacrash

batman
The Goonies was a terrible movie and you're terrible people for being excited for a sequel. someone had to say it. glad it wasn't me. the goonies is awful haha. I didn't grow up with it though, so maybe it's a nostalgia thing. just a bunch of annoying kids yelling the whole time.
jerseydave77
How is this movie at all awful? It is an awesome ensemble cast full of adventure. It's the sort of film meant for pre-teens that isn't made any longer because people want everything to be safe. I look back at movies like The Goonies and ET and even Lost Boys and all I see is sanitized bullshit in it's place. I'm also surprised a Wrestling nut wouldn't hold a bit of nostalgia for this film since it was Cindi Lauper latching on to the soundtrack, bringing in Captain Lou Albano for the video then crossing over to work in WWF that actually set the Wrestlemania era. Seriously, it seems easy to dismiss but at that time she was huge. Yes, Ali, Mr T and to some degree Liberace were just as important but she cross promoted the shit out of wrestling and without Wrestlemania I being a success who knows where WWF would be. Anyway, there is a connection. Besides that the movie is freaking awesome. TheMoosen and jtcohenour

Guest
Cindi lauper is insufferable. The Goonies is just a pointless shit show that is beyond obnoxious from start to finish where nothing makes a lick of sense.
jerseydave77
Ok - know I know you are trolling because Cyndi Lauper is freaking great. She's So Unusual - awesome record. True Colours - her version is downright heartbreakingly brilliant. jtcohenour and kyacrash

TheGhostOfRandySavage
I will say, my little sister is a big fan of The Goonies and I could never get as into it as her. A sequel 20 years after any movie seems like a terrible idea though.
kyacrash
Wow, I didn't know there were people who didn't like the Goonies. I wrote one of my college entrance essays about the goonies. for real.

cannonball
Yeah the goonies was great when I was a kid. Not sure if a sequel is necessary now. Maybe like 20 yrs ago like ppl already mentioned.
