TheGhostOfRandySavage
Hey everyone. I. Love. Burgers. Ever since I was a young lad they've been my favorite food. I know as a grown-ass adult I should probably like something else more, but I don't. Come in here to talk about your favorite burger. Recipes, post 'em. Favorite burger someplace? Tell us. I'd really like to know good places to go to get burgers too! I'll start it off. Here in Portland, OR there are a couple great places to get burgers. Killer Burger: Awesome burgers here, great fries too! I like their Jose Mendoza, Black Molly, and Peanut Butter burgers best. Wifey is partial to the classic. Produce Row: This place has other good stuff too, but I loooooove their house burger or whatever it's called. It has some kind of mustard-y sauce on it that is awesome. Again, great fries. Little Big Burger: Almost sliders here, but they're still 1/4 lb patties. Their ketchup used to be better before they started making their own actual "ketchup" part. It used to be Heinz mixed with honey and sriracha...omg. So good. I actually think I like swiss on my burgers here. I'm drawing a blank right now, but I'll add more when I remember them! I'd like to try Boogie's Burgers. If anyone has been there, lemme know what's up. Your burger buddy, John

Wifey is partial to the classic. I've been to Portland twice, and both times I've made it a point to eat at Killer Burger. So very good. Around here, there aren't too many awesome burger places that aren't chains. I'd say Red Robin is my best option. Sad but true.
GradedOnACurve
I'm dying to go back to Kuma's Corner in Chicago. I need to get the Mastodon burger again. Best burger joint I've ever been to. (not my pic)
kjkenney
did anyone ever try the Ghost BC burger? had communion wafers on it and was cooked in wine. Thought that was an awesome idea, but wondered if they were actually good.

I was in Guelph and it was pretty good. https://www.worksburger.com/#

Most places its more like a thai peanut sauce, some places do more of a straight up PB. I like both though! The Killer Burger one has PB, pickles and bacon. It's....incredible. I've been to Portland twice, and both times I've made it a point to eat at Killer Burger. So very good. Around here, there aren't too many awesome burger places that aren't chains. Satan
There's a new burger joint owned by Michael Symon called B-Spot that's going to be opening up next to me in a few months, and i'm beyond excited. http://bspotburgers.com/food/ i REALLY want to try the Atomic. But until then I've been having Smash burgers pretty much on the regular.

TheGhostOfRandySavage
Or Columbus! That;s where this new joint is opening up. Oh! Right on! I used to drive through Columbus every couple years on my way to visit fam. With any luck he'll open one in Pittsburgh; that's not toooo far from Cleveland...then I can try it when I visit the in-laws.
danionly
My favorite burger is from Tasty Burger in Northampton, MA, called the Westhampton Burger. Cheese, Bacon, BBQ & Ranch Sauce. I usually ask for mushrooms on it too. I love bacon and mushrooms on my burger.
TheGhostOfRandySavage
I forgot to say that I made a meeeeeean miso burger the other day. My gal made a nice miso marinade for some salmon, but I snagged some to slap on a burger. Holy. Moly. Miso, asian slaw, little sriracha, and japanese mayo. That was some good stuff. If you guys have any out of the norm burgers you make at home, feel free to post those in here too! I grill up some burgs pretty often, so it's nice to try new things! I'll ask her how she made the miso marinade, but I'm pretty sure it was just dark miso, a little vinegar and some soy sauce...

Family Friendly Rap God
I love Bubba Burger's Vidalia Onion variant. Also there's a local spot here called Rutledge Cab Company. They serve an amazing lamb burger. Ground beef patty topped with shaved lamb, olive tapenade, roasted tomato and feta cheese
mrewest
GODDAMMIT I LOVE BURGERS. I designated the last couple months of Wednesday's for me and my wife "Hamburger Wednesday". Either I make them or we go out. Anyone else from the Northeast Ohio area can attest to Swenson's. Best fucking cheeseburger ever. So simple, but sooo damn tasty. B-Spot is the real deal as well. But even better than the burgers are the milkshakes. Vanilla Bean Apple Pie Bacon milkshake. Yep. Red Robin's peppercorn burger is pretty great. Five Guys is awesome. No wonder I'm fat, Jesus. TheGhostOfRandySavage
Good point, Dan! This is a photo of the Peanut Butter, Pickle, Bacon Burger at Killer Burger. All their burgers come with bacon though, so I'm not sure why they specify in that one that it has bacon. Anywho! It spread its buns, just for you. EDIT: I would ask that you keep your burger porn natural. No photoshopped burgers/photos from menus or the place's website! Amateur only. entendu
