PO: Blur -The Magic Whip

Recommended Posts

Are the labels supposed to be the same on both discs?  Or maybe it's such a subtle difference they just look the same to me.

Sides A and C are the same (smiley face), and B and D are the same except one has red text while the other has green. Not 100% sure on side numbers because I haven't played it yet.

The packaging is fantastic on this.

I knew there would be some subtle difference. I guess I won't be able to list mine on eBay as a one of a kind collectors item due to being mislabeled.

wonder if that's a real or fake obi

real obi.  great packaging.  got it yesterday and i enjoyed the record.  yes, it's a steep price, but i don't spend that much on records on the reg, so it was ok.  if they all started to cost that much, i'd probably just adjust by buying less.

They can probably do a 2xLP of b-sides and demos. A 3xLP for the Alexandria Palace show (or another live show). Couple that with the main album for a 7xLP super deluxe edition.

Alex was on the radio a few months back talking about how they were trying to work with the BBC to put out a full BBC Sessions release. This might be a teaser to that release as well.

It's almost certain to be leading to something bigger, would be very odd to release a 4 track sessions ep without much build up (uk & euro sites showing 26th July date) and leave it at that

Parklife 25th anniversary was back in April, but could still hopefully be that!

So from the details of all the sessions it looks like this 10" is the Mark Radcliffe '94 Session.

The Amazon listing for it has been taken down at the current time.
