Derek™
^ I have no idea how that worked. Just imagine a hardcover book. But on the back or "inside" of each cover's side, there's a paper sleeve / pocket that the LP slides in and out of. All of the pages would then be sandwiched in the middle. It worked really well. (Though to be fair, PTSBBAM was a single LP, and thus only had a single pocket at the very back.)

bortx
Item description: "These are one time deluxe pressings of 2CD and 2LP sets with expanded artwork. The deluxe 2CD and 2LP sets will each be housed in a heavy duty 28+ page perfect-bound hard covered book set, of course featuring the art of frontman John Baizley." I guess that means a book with more than 28 pages with awesome Bazley's artwork right? Is it expensive then? I also have to order from Germany... almost 70$....... wow.... will discuss it with the pillow..

I'm really on the fence about that deluxe... For those of you in the US who bought the deluxe, how much was the shipping?
koremora
Mine was 4.73. Completely and utterly reasonable.

oojavaguru
Ordered each deluxe version and got *free* Fed Ex ground shipping. This may be an option if several of you want to go in together and happen to live near one another.

overture
I remember that Relapse had this weird "tax" what they added to every order shipped outside US. They clearly have this policy right now too, but its not written out like that anymore, it is hidden in the shipping price.
northernfailure
Just ordered the split color... steep price, but I'd hate myself later for not owning this. And it's one of the few albums coming out that I have no doubt it'll be fucking awesome.
thievesdont
Does Relapse charge you when you place the order, or when the pre-orders ship?
drewberinger
gonna buy the deluxe tomorrow when I get paid. yolo

mcpherson123
I really want the deluxe but I just don't think I should do it. I'll probably end up ordering one soon but I ordered the Yellow A/B Green C/D. If that configuration had been available on the hardcover I would have gotten that.

stagetwo
Ordered the deluxe yellow/green split. I love John's artwork and it will be cool to have a book with some of it.
Eclipsical
Ordered the deluxe yellow/green half and half. Pretty stoked, sucks it'll be a 2+ month wait.
raidenradio
Ordering the deluxe yellow/green when I get paid. Also saving my right arm for a Baroness-themed sleeve that starts with the Red Album artwork at the top and working its way down the arm with Blue and then this (Then... I don't know.... continue down my right leg?)
bgibbs
Browser on my PC would just not let me add it to my cart, so I had to do it from my phone. Ended up with the standard yellow and green.

longgoneloser
Ordered this today. Got the split green and yellow deluxe. When I spoke to John earlier this year, he told me about this release and said the company that made the Touche Amore record is putting this one together. If you've seen the quality of that then you'll know how this one will look. I think he mentioned that the book is all different types of art relating to each song or something like that. Regardless, this is going to be a great piece of art all round. I got it sent to a friends house in the USA because the shipping is ridiculous to Australia. Figured if I buy a lot of different orders from different labels and got them all sent to a friends in the USA and then the whole lot sent here in one big lot, it would work out a lot cheaper overall. Yep. Good idea that.
