radiatorhums
I can't decide if I should get a new laptop, or just install an SSD in my current one. The extra speed should give me another year or two out of it, and I can use the SSD in a new laptop when I get one. Decisions, decisions. Are you maxed out on ram? radiatorhums
Yeah, 8gb is the limit in this thing. I have 4 I always thought my max was 8, turns out I was wrong. You could probably squeeze another 2+ years out of your laptop if you put Linux with a light weight desktop manager on it too.

I have not used linux in years, but that is not a bad idea at all. Might grab the SSD and do that. Morning all. Just to make things clear I have a box spring under my mattress on the floor Haha, thanks for that clarification. Makes it seem a little less meth-y. Might as well try it when you get the SSD. You're going to have to install an OS anyway and if you don't like it, you can just install Windows over it I'd recommend Mint Linux. Buffbloom
Stopping in here to recruit more people to join the weight loss competition. So far the price is $50 and a $25 record. We need more people! Please check the thread and join in and make this fun.
Sad Heart
I'm 130. If anything I need to gain weight. Haha. Great idea though. Buffbloom

Futon mattress on top with a memory foam roll on top. I like sleeping low to the ground. It's only about 2' tall.

I boot my OS from my SSD and then use my HDD for all data storage. I have a 3TB external for music/movies that is at about 85% capacity. Every day I wake up in fear that my computer will crash and I'll lose ten years of work, pictures, and porn.
cambionic
Morning all. Just to make things clear I have a box spring under my mattress on the floor I went all out and got a fancy ass Queen size eurotop mattress with a nice boxspring and legit frame. I figured I spend 1/3+ of my life in bed (...and it's usually the best parts), so I could justify dropping $800+ on a mattress.
Bladewillisisdead
I'm 130. If anything I need to gain weight. Haha. Great idea though. I just hit a consistent 130 (up from a depression induced 120). My goal is at least 135.

Bladewillisisdead
My girlfriend is making pizza, we're smoking and spinning Disintegration. We got new pajamas today and relaxation levels are pretty much maxed out.

Dominic_
I just hit a consistent 130 (up from a depression induced 120). My goal is at least 135. I am about 150 and six feet tall, so I don't really need to lose weight, but I really should put on some muscle since even though I am technically a healthy weight I am still not in particularly great shape. Gaining muscle is a bitch. Wouldn't even really know where to start other than the obvious (lifting weights or something). I always see people talking about crazy ass diets and other stuff that I have no clue about.

Dominic_
Just come to the gym with me. I'll whip your ass into shape Rez. You'll be a muscley stud in no time. I bet. Maybe I will take weights as my PE credit since my athletic abilities are laughable (partially because I can't see for shit) I think my family actually has a gym membership and I can drive now. I'd still have no clue how to work any of the machines though.
Guest
I could certainly stand to lose quite a bit of weight. I was 150ish in high school, dropped to 120 senior year when I got really depressed and hung out there for years. When I developed really bad anxiety, and didn't leave the house for almost a year I jumped up to around 215 and am still around there. The mind does strange things to your weight for sure. It didn't help I moved back in with my parents, and when I did they were remodeling their kitchen for 3 months, so they ordered food every night.
