didn't I become an emotional wreck after a few of your recommendations

Check out It's Such A Beautiful Day.  It's a really, really, really great movie!  Also, it will devastate you.

Also these:

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father

Grave of the Fireflies

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas

The Pianist

Mystic River

Blue Valentine

Candy

Leaving Las Vegas

The Wrestler

The Fountain

The Basketball Diaries

Revolutionary Road

Dancer In The Dark

Antichrist

Kids

Chinatown

Funny Games

Donnie Darko

Melancholia

Oldboy

Happiness (though this one is pretty darkly funny)

After you're done having your soul crushed by these, you'll never want to watch a movie again.

I'm starving. Chicken sounds really good right now, but I don't feel like buying anything. I'll have to eat my crappy pb&j sandwich :(. I need a better work lunch.

it's hot as fuck out so AC needs to be on :(

Also, I just saw Ziggy Stardust at the record store today, $45 !!!!! Insane !!

It's only 75F here today, so not too bad, but I'm in a huge glass building that retains heat so the AC needs to be on.

$45 is pretty insane. These labels doing old reissues of albums they pressed 100,000+  copies of are crazy to think anyone would pay that.

I'm at home and it's 79, so for now I'm fine, but when I go to work it's gonna be painfully hot. Pittsburgh is one of those cities where if the hear doesn't get you, the humidity will.

Your weather is pretty much the same as ours, since we're close and both are close to the lakes. Always humid, or something strange. The great lakes areas have some of the mose extreme changes in weather in the country.
