I never pass on SDF anything. He said the reason he couldn't get into them was because they're generic relative to the genre, and I agreed, though I haven't actually heard a full album of theirs. When everything is in that same range of frequency it sounds muddled to me. Same reason I don't dig new Cannibal Corpse stuff. Probably just me having killed my hearing.
