gmoney
Out in August. Amazon just added a ton of new "Original Master Recordings" & "Mobile Fidelity" releases to their site. Sure they will be or might already be up at SoundStageDirect and places like that soon, also. derkwithano
Despite how blue sounded I have been meaning to get Green and Make Believe. Blue sounds amazing. Are you saying otherwise?
searos
Blue sounds amazing. Are you saying otherwise? Side B had terrible surface noise. I checked to see if it was just mine but I found many reports of it. Side A sounded great though!
robotfactory
Bummed to see Love Is Hell isn't on that list/still doesn't appear to have a release date. This is going to end up being a year plus preorder when it is said and done.
timsimmons
Yeah, no way are they making that June release day for Love Is Hell. It's going to be a Fall release.

This is going to end up being a year plus preorder when it is said and done. i talked to one of the mofi guys a few weeks ago. he said test presses were approved by everyone but one person that needed to listen to it and they sound incredible. he said as soon as that was done (in a day or two) they'd go to press. there's a good chance these are already being manufactured. most of the work is already done. SaulManella
40 bucks for one album. Because sound matters, right? Fuck these people.
Questhate
No one is forcing you to buy them. These are all albums that you can find in many other (cheaper) pressings. But those willing to pay a slight premium on well-mastered, analog-sourced copies of these albums on high-quality 180g vinyl will appreciate having the option. I, for one, am a big fan of MoFi releases, even though I only buy about 10% of the ones that get released. Seriously, $22-$30 for single LPs and $40 for 2LP's aren't THAT much of a premium over a standard release nowadays. From this batch, I'll probably only buy Pinkerton, and a couple of the Miles Davis ones shipping right now (In a Silent Way and Milestones). jared
Need to pick up all of the Dylan and Davis stuff. Like pointed out above, you're paying a bit more, but you're also getting the best sounding version of the record.
tonyfranciosa
got my Mofi Pinkerton this morning and I've been playing it all day - worth every penny. Really hearing things in a way I've never heard them before - everything's grittier and dirtier and I love it.
