fireyred77 Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Was actually pretty excited to hear this album given "Passing Through a Screen Door" and all the hype behind the record. Severely disappointed. I was digging it until that song Teenage Parents. After that the album got very stale and forgettable. Essentially, this is the In Currents of The Wonder Years. Fun. Can jam to it. Easily Forgettable. Kind of a let down. Also, that last "song" is a joke. I don't understand why they created a medley of the singles off the album... Overall: ~6.5/10 Maybe after a few more listens it'll grow more on me. The Saint Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 I love it cause it's The Wonder Years. This album was a breath of fresh air for me. Something I really needed. But I will say that after the first listen, "I Just Want To Sell Out My Funeral" does sound a bit weird. It didn't seem like it totally gelled together. But I love it, nonetheless.
