kyacrash
Ordered Year of the Dragon. Kinda upset it's not on black vinyl like every other fucked up release ever though.
nickmitch
Ordered Year of the Dragon. Kinda upset it's not on black vinyl like every other fucked up release ever though. I believe it's just the first press that is on white (and only the first press comes with the flexi). If it's repressed in the future, I am led to believe that it will be on black

apeman
Did Matador not have a UK or EU webshop previously, or am I just imagining things. I would like to get the 2xLP version of 'Glass Boys', but am waiting to pull the trigger in case there would be a retailer, where I could avoid taxes and high shipping. Any suggestions? nico
I really want to see a full Fucked Up collection picture.
imaxcowboyx
The entirety of "Year of the Dragon" has also been streaming on Spotify for awhile. I really dig it, it's definitely got a heavier feel than most Fucked Up stuff.
glass realms
The new album is a little underwhelming. Especially after hearing Year of the Dragon. I get them experimenting with writing more melodic music with Damian's screaming on top of it. But it's kind of getting old now. The sound of YOTD was the direction I wanted them to go. monsterrod
Personally, I've had a hard time getting into Fucked a Up, but this album I'm really enjoying. I have yet to spin the second, half-speed drum disk, but I'm really enjoying this album much more than Fucked Up albums past.

Moglog
Took a few spins, but I LOVE this album, maybe even more than David Comes To Life. The half speed drums are pretty cool too (the drumming on both LPs is phenomenal).
bluessinger
Yeah, I really like the half time drums on a few of the tracks. Can't wait to see them in a month or so.
Twistedshabazz
Digging this alot. Going to go back to my local shop to grab the limited version to see what this half time drums will sound like.

kyacrash
I like the half-drum version a lot more than I thought I would. Both versions are great. For me this is above David Comes to Life but below ChemCom and Hidden World.

For me this is above David Comes to Life but below ChemCom and Hidden World. I've only gotten half way through the slower version and completely agree. The half-time beats make it a completely different album. Kudos to Fucked Up, these records are great.
